not sure how useful this is but coelacanth is an anagram for
catch alone - the fish is rarely seen probably usually caught alone
tonal cache - the tones we have on the expcnv file and a cache being memory were the tones would be stored
conceal hat - the hat could be concealing something on that picture
i dont think its a vital clue but it interests me, they must have picked that fish specifically for some reason

And, what is it simulating? Its giving us access to the files that were originally on an old TU 56.. The PDP-11 sim program by D morris 05 feb 1977..Being used to simulate a TU56 so we can see the files in it from back then, no?
Yeah something like that. I think there are certain types of files that can only be opened if run in a simulator.
But just look at the top of the black screen and you'll see that it says PDP-11 Sim if you need more confirmation that its a simulator we're seeing. Also, the very first line says when it loads says PDP-11 Simulator.

I'd guessed previously that it may point to some theme of extinct species being rediscovered or perhaps generally about rare species finds.

@ filmedge
yeah that makes sense.
ive also noticed that on his did you know fish facts section he mentions that bass heve that elecctroreception sense and when i wiki'd it i notice that the coelacanth has this ability as well, if he's such a nut about that one fish why mention the bass and not the coelacanth, again not very important but it stands out for me as strange

im also toying with the idea that coz he's used minker instead of sinker in the website title and i cant find minker as a surname anywhere else maybe its a clue at a ROT and maybe something needs roting with s being m, t being n, u being o and so on, im doubtful though, coelacanth comes out as wiyfuwuhnb which is just plain nonsense at best

Kraten (workaround)
Guest
Other Thoughts He also make reference to a Specific Moby Dick Book in his First Post - There are at least 3 edittions of this book found here
http://www.classicscentral.com/cc05.htm
I find this Odd
He also talks of problems using his work PC to do the Blog - I think he is the PDP-11 Sim Owner . IMHO.
Also Odd
And he also appears to talk about Boston and Canada as places to go to he a coelacanth? They are NOT around either area
More ODD
Just a lot of ODD

the version he references is a comic book, it is briefly mentioned on the wiki page twice at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classics_Illustrated
apparently they read from the moby dick book in a film called major league, not seen it myself

I think that Josh is the guy who was posting publicly, rec'd "the damn thing", etc.
So the convo would be:
Mystery Person: Stop posting publicly. I can answer your questions. I have proof.
Josh Minker: See. I have the damn thing. What is it?
Mystery person: I think something may have reactivated. Need to make sure we're still alone. Keep hidden until further contact.
ETA: STIES was discovered May 6th. The "stop posting publicly" part was already on the "print all documents" window when the site was discovered so that bit of the conversation cannot be dated unless you assume that the date the site went live is the same date the convo started.
I think this is correct. And where I thought Josh posted on the Conspiracy website in June, I noticed looking at other posts there that the dates are switched (European style) and his post is actually from May 6. I think these messages may have been in response to this post and someone (Mystery Person) may suspect the material he has and doesn't want anyone else to try to help Josh with it?
His post on the Top Ten Real Conspiracies website:
"Hey - new to this site. Does anyone know the best way to authenticate something? Like old papers, photos, footage, etc? Are there experts for conspiracy related verifications? Would appreciate the help!"

I don't think anyone has posted this (if so, my bad) but if you look a few posts down a user by the name of Dan B. Cooper posted an off topic post that had since been removed. I have been going back and forth through the post pages I forgot how I ended up on this site.

EDIT: SOOOO I tried posting this under the hookandminker.com and New Print-out thread but it didn't wuite work out so I started a new thread =) you can post here, or don't post here; I just wanted to get my finding out there. If it's been found already, joke's on me =(
theres also a diabled post by MISINFORMEDIA, dont know if that means something to someone..

Thanks for this! I wanted to hear the recording but was a bad ARGer and was wary on calling the number before when we weren't sure it was IG =P

Thanks for posting the call! Didn't know when I would have a chance to call it myself so this made it easier.
I do agree with a previous post that it's unusual to have a 1800 number for someone who seems otherwise unknown.
