'Boston Fisherman' map co-ordinates
Found map co-ordinates hidden?

Am pretty sure the 'Boston Fisherman' site is part of all this. Or not and I'm an idiot. Which is just as likely.

When you go onto http://bostonfisherman.com/ only two links are live. If you view the source on the live pages, you'll see lots of hard-return deadspace, which is weird for a website. Below that you'll see CSS for a map which doesn't display (unless that's just my computer). Each location has coordinates and a URL. Add the URL to the end on the main URL, and you get pages on those locations you can't get to through the primary navigation. Each page has information on that location. One bit about experiments on a military prison. Lots of other facts about railways.

On the 'canal' page there's a comment posted by 'Boston Fisherman', 'was here the other day, didn't catch anything' you can view his profile and you'll see a URL for buttonbeats.com which looks pretty real so maybe this is nothing... Dunno.

And yet, Whois lookup identifies bostonfisherman as being created at 21MAY2009. I'm kind of a newbie to ARGs, but doesn't such a date indicates an OOG site?... Indeed it was updated very recently, but still.

 No fisherman in Boston.
real or fake? or just the worst website build of all time.

javascript:emoticon('Cool')I am completely new to the ARG stuff but it seems to me this site is definitely OOG.

I'm a web designer javascript:emoticon('Wink')and I've looked at the code for every site thats been mentioned IG and OOG. Here are my thoughts:
javascript:emoticon('Idea')

    1. STIES (PDP-11) is IG. very sophisticated. A lot happening in the background there.

    2. HML (Josh Minkers blog) is IG. Maybe one of the webs ugliest site, however it uses wordpress and is actually rather well made. It's only real flaw is the 1990's graphics.

    3. CL (Estate Sale) is IG. Pink pillbox hat is perfect match. I don't remember the last time i saw that good of a product picture on any ebay or CList ad. A biologist/hobbist can't afford that kind of camera.

    4. youTube/Meemi/FB are all OOG. Too much doesn't add up and the timeline is wrong.

    5. bostonfisherman.com is OOG. The site is worse than any MySpace page i've ever seen. structure is screwed up. has no web standards applied to it. hardly any functionallity and here is the killer for me. Google ads. someone is just trying to make money off of "click happy" us.

Can someone who has been play these ARGs longer than i, tell me if they've ever seen Google ads on a confirmed IG site? I'm doubting anyone can.

Like i said, "I'm new" and will happily swallow my shoe if i am later proved an idiot.
