Put all the dots together from all four cards and I am sure it might form a clue.

Just got an ArcWars card in the mail today. Neat, although I'm sad I don't have anything new to add.

Still no postcard Sad. My brother called me down the stairs and said "you've got some mail." I was like "is it a postcard? Is it from Flynn Lives!?" Turns out it was a postcard, but it was from Jostens about my classring being shipped to me on Saturday. These black strips remind me of the tickets I used to get into Disney World parks and Universal Studios back in April...

Received a "Vice Squad" card. Same one as previously posted.

The stripe doesn't appear to be a mag stripe; it's seems printed. So running it through a card scanner probably won't come up with anything.

Looking at this pattern again, it seems very similar to a tumbler on a music box movement. Perhaps this is some sort of musical code with the notes corresponding to letters.

In case you are unfamiliar with a music movement...

Also... I have a couple dozen UV and Orange light (Halloween) keychains I was going to give out at ARGFest If I ever get to one.

But I'll send one to anybody who sends a SASE (PM me for my address) till they're gone.

halloween keychains?

I'm sure that's why they were on the 75% off rack when Halloween was over. Wink
They have a dual switch. If you use the UV LED, it works great. The Orange bulb has a higher draw, which then makes the UV not work well till after it has sat for a minute.

the barcode in the image on the front IS different than the mail barcode on the back. Those with UV lights, can you get a pic of them with that light? I know it takes us back to square one but, remember the lightcycle images that were found as if they were deleted file fragments? What if these are like that in that we attack them seperately and not overlayed? Can you invert the colors on the codes we have? Make them white and the rest dark? Just curious.... I know I'm throwing a lot out there but my mind is racing and I gotta put it somewhere. Talking to myself isn't helping....

I just noticed that... The lines on the front are not a postal code; all the lines have the same height.

I'm pretty sure the lines on the front *are* just a postal code. Unrelated to TRON, I got another postcard from a friend last week on vacation, and it has nearly similar markings on it.

I still consider this composite image done by "thebruce" to be the best pic. yet of all the strips overlaid. It clearly shows (IMHO) that they form uppercase, dot-matrix style letters. The letters from the first half are quite possibly, "ENCOMSR"

There must be more postcards coming, most likely to other countries. The four seen so far are what US residents get. We'll probably see the other ones roll on over the next week.
Of course that doesn't mean we can't take guesses based upon what we currently have. And we can also try getting better pictures of the strips taken to double-check and improve on the pictures that we have now.

I still firmly believe that it's not going to be complicated, and that the dots overlaid will spell something.

When I made the overlay I lined everything up as best I could specifically by the only common denominator in all four photos - the border around the grid. Aligning those as best as possible first, and with a few minor (as in pixels) adjustments produced that overlay. And from what I can tell, it really seems to point to a 6x6 letter sequence.

Going the way of encoded barcodes and whatnot seems a little much from the style of Flynn Lives, here. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am Smile

We just need some more postcards!

Ummm, I have a possibility here... We need to cut Bruce's image in half. Then flip the right half left-to-right and overlay it on the left half.
Are those our missing pixels?

EDIT: Doing this purely in my head... Seemed like a good idea, but I don't think that's it.
Sounded good!
