Is there a possibility of anyone graphing out the bar codes on the front image of the cards? I've lined up mine and my friend's and comparing them. It may help to get an idea of how they look when lined up. Also, if there's any difference between one copy of (for example) Kraz-bot and another. That might help determine if they're important or not.

maybe they put these "codes" to distract us from the actual clue.

Maybe if we program it into some sort of CAD program, a force-sphere will appear in midair which we can use for space travel.

Wow, seriously? Nobody's gotten the reference yet?

They could be a red herring, sure. But at the same time couldn't there be two clues on the same card?

Won't we need a Tilt A Whirl car for that?

Explorers? The one with the kids who make a space ship that has a force field?

Nah. I'm thinking that, story-wise, these are meant to be 'vintage' cards from the early 80s, advertising the various games' releases, that the Flynn Lives organization acquired and re-purposed for their latest operation. The black bar and UV-dots are a later addition... the question is, why? Doesn't seem to be much point yet... here's hoping some more card types will pop up before too long. Smile

Sounds reasonable to me. The simplest explanation is the right one? Smile

T-that was meant to be a joking reference to Explorers...Nevermind.

My fiancée just brought up an idea. What if the dots are like the display of a binary clock?

Looking at this pattern again, it seems very similar to a tumbler on a music box movement. Perhaps this is some sort of musical code with the notes corresponding to letters.

Good theory, and the pattern looks similar.

I just had another idea. What about an abacus? The position of the squares could be like the positions of the beads on an abacus.

Ok, so I've written out the line sets from the front images of Kraz Bot and Vice Squad. Tomorrow I'll get to see a copy of Astro Gunner.

I've lined up the two cards and spaced them out as evenly and accurately as I can. For simplicity I'll write out the lines 1's and the spaces as 0's. There could also be a chance of this being binary. Even if it's not, it's just easier to read this way.
