Printing Problems?

Just recieved my Vice Squad card in Ohio today, and I noticed that there appeared to be signs of rips on both sides of it. I'm assuming there might've been a stickness problem when they printed these back in San Diego, and that some cards placed on top of each other when fresh out of the printer or something caused an issue. Anyone else have this problem yet?

Hey all, just letting people know that I received a post card today in Liverpool in the UK! It was post marked June 28.

But I'm completely stumped with what to do with it though, which kind of renders this post as being useless...

Do you reckon these games will be made available on line a la Space Paranoids?

JUST got my card today, and it's the Arc Wars one. Looks like there IS only 4 cards. If this is the case, why can't we break this code?!

Also, it's not magnetic, since I tried sticking it on my fridge to be sure and it didn't work.

No, just tried typing a potential link for something like that. Didn't work. Sad

As far as the code.. it looks like some kind've magnetic strip to me. Is there anyway of testing if the little black dots on the strip are magnetic or not?

I think that might yield results. Smile

Hold a magnet over it?
Ok, in an attempt to break this down; what's been given using blacklight clues? How were they decoded? There's gotta be a pattern of what they're using, past dictates the future. Maps were given out at ComicCon(?) with UV lights and there were posters that had codes to be cracked... there were seperate posters and each had a seperate code. 4 seperate postcards..... 4 seperate codes? Does this make any sense what so ever? I wasn't at ComicCon so those with more knowledge of the event may have better specifics.

Which card did you get? One of the four already available?

This is getting frustrating... Perhaps they're going to send out more cards. ARGH!!!! ARG

I just got a Kraz-Bot postcard in the mail (I'm in Indiana). I took a pic with a tripod and a long shutter speed. The only black light I have is the tiny one from the Clue spy game, so I moved it back and forth over the postcard. It seemed to work pretty well. The only ruler I could find in the house was my daughter's Hannah Montana one (don't judge me!) Maybe this well help with the lining up?

Why can't we figure this out? There REALLY has to be something we're not noticing here!

it appears a barcode is on the front of the postcard

Correction: It appears to be stamped on for mailing or something.

The hunt goes on!

BTW, I think if you overlap the four post cards in a certain way the dots would make a word or a URL or something. it's worth a try

Magnetic recording media doesn't work like that. If it did, you could stick all of your credit cards to the fridge. I don't think the cards have magnetic media data strips, but that's not how you'd test it.

What are magnetic media data strips? And how do you decode them?

Twenty-two pages and all we did is talk about how pretty the pictures are.
You mean there's stuff on the back too?!?! Oh my gosh! Thanks for coming by!
