Tomorrow I am doing a sock puppet project with the kids at my Summer Camp! I will document the day if you guys would like me to. Can I get a move on this idea and a second?

Holy *expletive deleted*, I donated yesterday and they were at just over $3500. Today they've smashed through the $6k target. Who is the $1k backer? Care to own up, money bags? Smile

Definitely need to canabalise a sock now.

I saw a tweet from @morbusiff:

Done. I kicked the rest. RT @imbri: $114 to go before Socks, Inc reaches its goal! Think we can do it by noon? http://bit.ly/988xRJ

Wondering if I should still pony up the $25... Most likely will...

I'm not sure if I should be a sophisticated sock, or a goofy sock, or a "chef" sock. I think I'll work on all three and see what comes out of it...

In a state of boredom at work yesterday, I designed almost a dozen different socks that I could use. Now I need to determine which is the most versatile of the lot .... and then get to work.

Even if the game sucks, I am jacked about making a sock puppet. What is wrong with me?

This game will not SUCK! Read through Rowans guide of Must Love Robots, and you will see Tim has too much potential to make a boring experience.

Although IF it did suck, I have been soo stoked to make socks. I will be posting the pics of my kids with/preparing their socks this Friday. I told them about the game, even gave them the website they can go on with their parents.

To date I have made 12 avatar for myself, but only 4 impressive ones. My skill in creating sock puppets has gone up fourteen levels!

I never said the game sucks. I said IF it sucked lol.

I actually played a bit of MLR. It wasn't too bad. But this isn't about that, it's a whole new experience and hoping this one works for the best.

Fine, I take back my comment. I found MLR to be a quirky, exciting, personal experience, even though I just lurked it. I am glad I caught on to this Day Uno. I donated 50 kangaroos and can't wait to hang Garys poster on my wall.

What do you guys think of my puppets? I have been having a lot of fun with this project. Went to Michaels today to pick up more felt, more googly eyes, a sun hat made of hay, and MORE socks. I've spent $100 on Socks Inc. to date.

Blimey, that's dedication. Loving the puppets, btw; you'll have to get an octopus* in and put on some kind of muppet show Smile

Mine is still in pieces waiting for me to stop procrastinating. Might be a job for tomorrow after the footie.

*Or graft on some extra arms, but the octopus will attract less attention when walking down the street.

Hmmm, an octopus would be cool. But, how would I go about making one. Maybe letting the legs extend where a necklace would be. If I do make one, I wouldn't even cut a mouth piece, letting the mouth be circular as an octopus would.
