I saved the message on voicemail... My reception isn't great and it's poor quality, but I'll try to get a transcript up!
Yay for finally getting the dots out of the way... I got as far as 'their' before I got stuck Laughing

Edit: Got the easy part of the message and it all seems normal, but as far as I can tell the clue has to be the very end... the part that's the hardest to hear, naturally Rolling Eyes

The rest of the transcript is here
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Hello. This is an automated call from Aguatero Industries.
As you know, Aguatero Industries is dedicated to hydrating the world, one drop at a time. Lucinda Rodriguez believes that you may be part of a rogue group trying to destroy Aguatero Industries. We just wanted to let you know that this behavior is unacceptable, and we will be turning off your water supply shortly. Thank you.

Message [unintelligible]

Ok, I found much of the message to be pretty hard to understand and I remember when the phone rang it was from 999-999-9999 (figured it was a telemarketer so I let it go to voice mail) so today I checked who sent it..it's a recorded message that HAS to be the clue but I can't understand it. Sounds garbled.

iPhone + Audacity = Awesome.

I recorded my message, tweaked it a bit to listen to it. At the very end, it says "Message Number 52801"

52801 is the Zip Code for Davenport, Iowa. Now, from the drawing Lucinda made, plus the memorial letters in the smiles, I can only wager Connor is being held near, at, or under one of 2 memorial bridges in Davenport. Iowa-Illinois Memorial Bridge (I-74 Mississippi River Crossing At Davenport) or Fred Schwengel Memorial Bridge (I-80 Mississippi River Crossing At Davenport)

Just a theory, but best one I've got so far.

I LOVE Audacity. I didn't even think to use it! Silly me... Confused
Lucinda DID say there would be two options... Maybe this is as clear as we're going to get. Has anyone updated Justin?

Description of the Iowa memorial mentions three support towers; Fred Schwengle doesn't?

Quote:
The final design consisted of a cable stayed sing bridge with a semi-fan stay arrangement, essentially a cable-stayed bridge with three support towers. View the designs for yourself here.

I'm not seeing three support towers in this picture. Plus, the Iowa-Illinois Memorial Bridge leads into Bettendorf, Iowa, where ninjaPhilanthropist and I have confirmed to be the location of the Walgreens where the augatero bottle pictures we got in snailmail were printed up.

Oh man, this is too funny. I'm looking at this doctor's notes pdf, right? I'm looking ot the right, and I notice some smudged writing. So, I photoshop - 90 degree CCW rotation, flip it horizontal, sharpen it up a bit...and what do I find? The most hilarious oops I've come across in one of these.

yeah and if we go by the drawing there is a arch over the bridge like in the "The Dubuque-Wisconsin Bridge" and the "Norbert F. Beckey". the photo clearly shows the supports are land-water-land orientation.

Also the "Rock Island Centennial Bridge" is similar AND has a dam which is a great place for evil villains to hide the captured protagonist.

The writing on the drawing says
Quote:
i am not much of an artist but our sponsorship/advertisement on the new road should emphasize our new campaign & environmentally friendly practices.

Which leads me to the new bridge "Ronald Wilson Reagan Memorial Bridge" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Wilson_Reagan_Memorial_Bridge but this is way far from 52801.

The top most post from conner's site says

i dunno i am getting too distracted by the possibilities.

Don't even get me started on that. The Dots led to the theirsin.pdf. Go back to page 26. Look at the post times. I had the theirsin.pdf linked within 20 minutes of the dot pdf being found. lmao. Damn dots. Very Happy They must have not realized that they had parent directory searching allowed, cause I went in there, trying to see what I could find, and I think I basically sidestepped the dots entirely and got the clue the dots led to prematurely. My bad, but hey, I'm thorough! hehe.

Anyhow, getting back to this, I still have my money on the Iowa-Illinois Memorial Bridge due to the fact that it leads into Bettendorf, and that's where the walgreens that the pictures were printed up in (snail mail inverted glowing edges pic of aguatero bottles).

Just my two cents on tthat.

McFly saved and added the voicemail to the site:

http://ourwaterplanet.wordpress.com/2010/07/06/gettingclose/

to me, the end of the message sounds like it might need to be played backwards possibly. I don't have that software, but see if someone can give it a shot?

I'm hearing "lrd15 parks" but it's still hard to determine. I really wish I could understand what the person is saying when I check who sent the message. It sounds like a small child but is REALLY unclear.

This not only sums up our clues pretty nicely, but it's also super ominous. http://www.davenportmemorialpark.com

How many people have got messages? Are there other clues to be had? I can't give my cell #, and for my home number I won't be able to get the message onto a computer.
