Hey new to the conspiracy for good, but managed to sign up for the event tomorow, as I live in London. Desperatley trying to get caught up... Just a quick FYI I got a text message detailing the exact meeting place and time. Look forward to seeing Skudzy and any others from here.

for those of you who weren't in chat, skudzy kept coming in and giving us updates while the live event was going on

it was ACES!

we would love to hear from others who were at the live event...anything you could tell us would be awesome!

Right so I thought it would be good to write up a summary of today's events in London for those that couldn't be there. This is very much an overview of what I can remember and I might ramble on a bit due to high number of vodkas at tonight's CFG party.

NADIRAH'S ARRIVAL
Arrived at the Tower of London at 11:30am and easily found the (old style) ice cream van with all the CFG people milling around - http://i26.tinypic.com/am30rb.jpg. I picked out Marcus, Brian and Tom in amongst the event organisers. We got given a pack (t-shirt, binoculars, compass, leaked BB briefing) and put into groups of 5. Each group was given a nokia phone with the software on it for the day's task. As I was in the first group we ended up going down onto the pier to get Nadirah off the boat. When the time came we were taken down by Brian and Marcus and watched as Nadirah's boat was chased by a BB boat - http://i31.tinypic.com/ev3viw.jpg. Eventually we got her to shore but she'd injured her arm (apparently when she got into the boat someone yanked her from behind). She was bundled into a car after speaking to the crowd saying Ann-Marie had mentioned something about Monument.

FOLLOW THE TRAIL
Our mission for the day was to follow a trail of CFG signs and video drops to the safe house. Monument as our starting point meant a short walk from the tower of london. The software on the phones we were given was effectively image recognition so if you pointed it at a valid thing, a link would appear to play a streamed video drop. The video drops showed Ann-Marie and David as they were trying to find the safe house and get away from BB. We were following in their footsteps as the video drops showed what they did at that location and the direction they took. We went along the river and down onto the beach. There was an optional video drop to find there which showed David leave some documents in a hiding place on the beach. Couldn't find anything where he left them (either due to another team getting there first or them just disappearing) so headed over millenium bridge to the Tate Modern. Our trail took us past some BB security men a couple of times and one group on the bridge were stopped by 3 BB's and were interrogated for a while. From the Tate modern we followed the trail back along the south bank towards london bridge. This is where we got a video which showed Ann-Marie receiving a piece of paper with a cipher on. There were some words above a number - couldn't make out the words but posted the number in chat. It wasn't essential for continuing with the trail but it might be worth a review if the video drops get posted online in better quality sometime. Continued following the clues and eventually ended up at a place called Argyle's Grill.

THE INITIATION
All the groups eventually made it to Argyle's Grill (an outdoor bar area - http://i27.tinypic.com/t7yj2t.jpg) and got to chill out a bit with a few beers. Marcus, Brian and Nadirah showed up, along with Tim Kring. We heard the Steward of London was going to put in an appearance as well. After a while we were all led into a building where the Steward of London spoke to us all. It seems he's been with CFG from the beginning, helping out wherever possible. Now that the old CFG group is scattered we needed to form the new chapter together. We were lead into a very dark room where we all sat down. We all linked hands and read words that appeared across the screens to do with CFG's mission. We were lead up some stairs where we each collected a booklet containing a CFG pin and the name of one of the children from the school in Zambia - http://i30.tinypic.com/b4i4jo.jpg. After that we were all gathered listening to the Steward speak again when motion sensor alarms went off. It seemed BB had followed us and were surrounding the building. Nadirah ran out the back door while we formed a human barrier to hold off the BB siege - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywBi0HeHTPk. We were all thrown out one by one as they tried to interrogate us and we were instructed to leave the premises. It's not known what happened to the Steward of London - it was reported that he was still inside after everyone had left and was at the mercy of BB.


SO...
It was a really fun day getting involved in the action and meeting Brian, Marcus, Nadirah and Tom. I realise the hacking efforts online were hampered severely by the fact that only 3 of the 7 cameras had been found by London folks but it all actually had a direct impact on the final outcome of the day. As there were cameras available to BB they followed us to the safe location and stormed the building. We don't know the final consequences of this yet but if we had discovered all the cameras and we had all worked on disabling them, the day wouldn't have ended in a siege. Hopefully I'll get the opportunity to go out and find the other cameras ready for future events (if the software gets fixed) but what this basically means is that the online people directly affect the outcome of the event. Stay with it people! Your efforts are not being ignored!

New blog post, seems someone needs to go back and look for David's evidence. I doubt we'll be able to get anywhere though until Marcus uploads the video drops as promised.

Just watched David's video drop at the life buoy. He's talking about multiple file drops not just the one... When I meet up with Skudzy and Trilson we'll see what we can do during the lunchtime break but it's a lot of ground to cover so I'll see about arranging a prolonged search after work.
