I emailed him 3 days ago at his site email and asked him if he was OK.. Asked him to post something since nobody had heard from him since his last post.. and ya know what? He posted!

Still no reply to my email tho...

I'm not very imaginative in my writing and english is a second language, but here's my reply:

Hi Josh!

Wow, you are truly the kind of person who sees the glass half-filled instead of half-emptied! I also have interest in fish, you know. Today, I started collecting a fish we have a lot in our northern lakes: the trout. In fact, I got my first specimen this afternoon! Maybe I'll start a blog like yours if find some more fishes.

I wish you good luck with your new site and with your new supervisor. By the way, you said you are getting allergic to paper product, may I ask where are you working?

Josh's responses to questions

I was thinking the same thing regarding cross-referencing ones who are part of this site (and/or others) with who Josh has replied to on his site.

So far there is one? Meemi (can't recall if that's the correct spelling, sorry)

The name Kraten seems familar. Verify?

The day I posted about two of the other items (after the 1st post of the hat on craigslist) showing up on craigslist, I sent an email to his yahoo account enquiring about the hat, etc. No reply.

A few days ago I emailed from the box on his site comments, questions (not as verbose as I tend to be here) and have not received a reply.

Did it strike anyone else a little odd that he included a comment from someone who included a link to the STIES site? Seemed very blatant and 500ras-like.

Still think it's probably IG, but if Josh is being very selective with the comments he posts, that one seemed just TOO obvious.

Anyone else?

EDIT: Also noted that among the comments JULY is in all caps.

Marj? possible tie-in?

Recall that when our favorite fish was found in 1938, the primary figures in the find were Marjorie Courtenay-Latimer and J.L.B. Smith.

Coincidence (?) with the comment from:

Twodten,

Well great, when the call came to ID the commenters on Josh's site, it would have been nice if you'd mentioned (or your sister had) that Marj could be accounted for.

So, Meemi and Marj can now be accounted for.

It shouldn't have been that hard to follow the suggestions to ID the commenters so that maybe we could determine who is IG and who is not.

Anyone else want to come forward?

Marj is on these forums all the time, so naturally, since my sister is her own person and all, I figured she'd come forth for herself and say so. It just so happens though that she's at work, and didn't get around to it yet. It's awesome that you expect people to reply immediately, it's not like people have lives or anything.

And if you'd even read the post with any kind of attention to detail, you'd know that Meemi is the GJ site profile associated with the youtube channel and fb profile, and that my Gravatar name is Meena.

Kraten Is Me - I stick to the same name as much as I can so if you see it anywhere ... It is Likley Me. That is my post on HLM and I also Signed up to Meemi - I still Think HLM is in Game but I also feel Meemi and Facebook and Utube Minker sites are GJ at this point.

So checking the source, I see that the entry description has deviated from the typical HLM description a bit.

Notice the "slug" at the end. Past "slugs" have been "slug-ta-da", "slug-yet-another-dead-end", "slug-still-trouble-posting".

So why the deviation? I'm sure it has something to do with the page ID that hosts the blog entry. http://www.hooklineandminker.com/?p=98

A little while ago I went through all the page IDs on from 0-100 looking for hidden posts but did not find any. I'm wondering if we should still be watching for them?

Yeah, I got the name wrong, I think my acknowledgment above (that you failed to reference) admits that I couldn't recall the exact name--no intention to lead to something I've agreed was GJ.

Thought the whole point of this forum was to theorize on and toss out things that may (or may later prove to not) be IG. This is the first time my health has allowed me to follow along with a viral campaign, and have found it enlightening, amusing, and a way to kill some time while confined to bed.

There had been a couple of posts encouraging ones to come forth and at least clear up who is IG, who is not, regarding the comments.

Since you had the time (and your sis did not), I can't see what problem there would have been for you to just weigh in and say, "Don't know about anyone else, but Marj is not IG." End of story.

Multipsych could have then scratched off Marj and we could have proceeded from there.

I apologize if I came of "snappy." That was not my intention. My intention was basically to say, "If any of us have (what they think to be) pieces of the puzzle, share."

Off topic, but are you a Bowie fan, or Labrynth (or both)?

Saw him and the Spiders at the Long Beach Civic Arena in the mid-70s; he was winding down Ziggy and moving into Alladin Sane.

Still an awesome collection of memories.
