Maybe he didn't want anything linking the CL ads to his blog? So he didn't approve your comment because he didn't want anyone else to be able to read it?

Upon catching up that some comments had been approved to publish, and initially reading Josh's new post, I started thinking maybe HLM is GJ rather than IG. It would be highly unusual for something IG to be interactive in this way (to me, anyway).

But then I realized that the two comments that Josh made back to posters in his blog entry actually don't refer to anything posted in any of the comments that were approved...so it seems a bit more like Josh's new entry was pre-programmed and not actually a real person responding.

Just thought I'd comment on that. Our only "proof" that HLM is in game as far as I recall is that the hat ribbon folds match so well, so I am still approaching it with some skepticism, because I'm definitely not going to say it would be impossible for someone playing at GJ to create a match.

So anyway, still leaning toward HLM being IG, but still not 100%.

I'm as skeptical as most usually when it comes to newly introduced IG websites. There usually needs to be a smoking gun of some sort to completely convince me. In this case, however despite the absence of that smoking gun I've been convinced. I just don't think a GJ could be as far reaching or well planned in the given amount of time. Consider the phone message, the creation of this whole new character, the blog, the flash photo slider, the calendars, the CL postings. Even without considering the whois data, that's a lot to have orchestrated in the amount of time since the new printout.

But anyway, I don't blame you for being skeptical. It certainly has that "OOG" look to it.

Appears to be IG if the timeline is correct (http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=29856)

"Thanks everyone for your interest in the Evelyn Minker Memorial Fund. We're no longer able to keep accepting donations at this time, but if you still want to give please contact Josh or a member of the Minker family for a list of Evelyn's favorite charities. Thanks again for your incredibly kind support"

A search for "Josh Minker" located http://www.hooklineandminker.com (a googlewhack at the point of discovery I believe)

*I guess you could somehow back date it - I was v dubious to start with but now feel more comfortable it is related.

One quick question, when were all the comments put up? I tried to look for them a few days ago but never found them. Were they put up today?

EDIT:
Nevermind, i think what you were looking for is a link between STIES and CL.

I thought the same thing at first, but remember that he could have been answering email questions, not necessarily comments on the blog.

Three pages ago, dude. You didn't repeat a discovery, but you asked a question you could have easily answered by looking so I award you a beautiful fishy trophy

That's right. For it to be truly confirmed, it would essentially need to be tied to STIES or an official website in some way. Something that is already confirmed IG or official. For that matter, I guess STIES hasn't been confirmed IG in this same manner but I don't think there's any question about that one.
