Rec'd another reply from the RocketPoppeteers site

After receiving my first reply from RPHQ, I replied changing the subject field so that it stated this: Rocket Poppeteers! Re: Can the disabled join in the battle against the Red Cosmos universal domination?

I stated:
"Perhaps you can help me. For the most part, I am bedridden, yet I'd still like to join, I just cannot rely on ones to mail off my newspaper coupon to join. Could you at least let me know if there's an alternative way to join--perhaps by e-mail, and what that process may be? Or will I be confined to Earth, rather than have my opportunity to help with the battle against the Red Cosmos? Surely there must be seating for the disabled...

and I assure you I am not, nor have I ever been a member of the nefarious Red Cosmos.

thank you,

Xeno"

I sent it at 6:12 a.m. left coast time, and within minutes received the following:

"Sorry, kids!!! Captain "Coop" Cooper is out battling The Red Cozmo!
Become a certified Rocket Poppeteer Astronaut and join the race to
outer space!"

So, it looks like there responses may be slightly different at random times, but appears to be automated to me.

I can't help the feeling that we are missing something with the emails.

^ Yeah, I think they really want us to focus on the Red Cozmo. As I mentioned on the top of page 66, redcozmo.com's Whois info comes up registered by GoDaddy (semi smoking gun) on June 10th of this year (another strong piece of evidence). Obviously we don't know enough to guarantee it, but I would hedge my bets that redcozmo.com is going to be IG eventually.

Of course, you never know!

Official Poppeteer
Becoming one

I reckon, and this is a massive guess (as always!) that the email is telling us to send off our coupon to join the fight- that way, later on in the game, we will probably be sent a clue by post- and Red Cozmo will come in later on when this occurs. So just send the coupon and wait...time will tell.

And sunflower? Straws grasping at! But yeah, I saw that too.

Seriously, we've waited for a long time now.
Am almost sure that Rocket Poppeteers need to be triggered by some kind of activity. Something like our ''mystery'' device.

Maybe we need to email them during the 'rare' hours to get a different response.

Red Cozmo

Im positive the at Red Cozmo has something to do with communisim. The 60's style newspaper and the articles in it point to this. But i am with everybody else. Its been a long time since rocket poppeteers has done anything.....I have no idea.

And hooklineandminker is def. In game because something would have been said from the owner of the blog had he been recieving random weird messages and had no clue what was going on.

Also it is still very early on into the is game, so i guess patience is going to be a big virtue. ARG

Ya know, i'm not sure how literally we should take this, but my email response says "Become a Certified Rocket Poppeteer...."

Has anyone tried sending the membership newspaper cutout by certified mail?

How does one become 'Certified"?

Yes, sending in the enrollment coupon was the first thing many of us did when the STIES printouts became available. You'll find plenty of discussion about it on this forum if you use the SEARCH function.
