But, most of the pictures on his site are saved as .gif. Usually people saving things as .gif is because they move, but nothing on the site moves.

Ex. The welcome to my website banner, all of the gray boxes, and the white fish should all be moving if they are saved as .gif

Yeah dude don't try to hack his email. It's really bad form.

Nice find on the fish on HLM!

I think it may be near impossible to find a match for a tidal chart and the moon phases on HLM. Like others said before, tides change all over the place. It could be completely different 10 miles down the road. You will need to search each coast line and all their bays, inlets, islands, etc.

I still feel this "Best Times To Spot A Rare Fish" calender is mind-boggling silly. Again, who goes out to spot rare fish? Heck, most of the time I never even see the ones that I was trying to catch let alone some rare ones. Just too weird!

I'd like to remind you and all other players that alternate reality does not mean lose all touch with reality. Breaking into a third party provider's account is still illegal. It's also not logical to how a game works, since such access would give you the ability to destroy the game through destruction of the game mechanics or undue manipulation of the game.

If the people running the game want you to hack an email, it will be implied and the email will be hosted on their own domain via their own mechanics. If you don't believe that, you need to see how other games are played. No movie studio or production house wants the legal grief after encouraging people to compromise the security of a third party site.

Don't do it.

Josh Is in England
I know it...

Alright, time to argue my case....

1) Josh is using GMT.

2) In the post before I have shown that Tilbury matches the chart on HLM with it's high tides.

3) Tilbury is on the East Coast of England

4) Just up the road from Tilbury is BOSTON (Remember, England had all the names first) and it is on the East coast and has a port so I reckon there is a good chance there are fishermen there

5) The Coelacanth doesn't like warm water and Josh has stated in the email that they could be sighted ANYWHERE, and the North sea and Atlantic are pretty cold.

6)Josh emailed importers in New England, Maine and Canada which implies he's nowhere near there- and the use of importers could mean they import to where he is.

7) Josh was away for a month to deal with his mums stuff, and if you live nearby you don't take a month- and maybe he needed to sell the stuff because he wasn't going to go to the hassle of bringing them back to England.

Cool Josh says he's allergic to paper and Tilbury is where most of Englands paper is imported.

So, that's my case at the moment.

Shelly is normally short for Michelle so I'm looking for someone named Michelle or Shelly who works at an aquarium on the East Coast of England. After that I'm checking all the paper importers in Tilbury for the name josh Minker. Anyone want to help? I reckon it's a strong case.

Oh, and I am now memberised.

OK, you have now convinced me there might be something to this. I'll be looking for aquariums around Tilbury as well.

Maybe Josh left America because of what happened in 1979?

"there had been a claim of a coelacanth at Tahiti which was never further corroborated. There have been claims from the North Sea to the Mediterranean and from Bermuda and Florida"

(Quote from http://www.dinofish.com/southpacific.html)

Another bit of evidence that strengthens my case...but still nothing on aquariums or paper importers.

And it could be he left after 1979, going underground does not necessarily mean going under the ground- it just means going off map, and moving to England could mean that.

If he's travelling back home to England he won't want to travel with all that stuff so he sells it while he's staying with family? Just a guess.

slinkydge, thanks for the link.

I checked out your photo comparison of the fin on the HLM fish (which I do think is photoshopped) and the rays on the RP moon and I agree with you. I think there is a similarity. I have never zoomed in on the moon on the RP page and now that I have, I do see it. I also think the curvature of that side of moon mimics the back of the fish on HLM and to me it even looks like the, what I will call coronol effect, around the right side of the rocket pop and the RP moon looks like the tail fin of the HLM fish.

I know it has been brought up before and I cannot remember who brought it up, it may have been you slinkydge, but I also see the similarity between the crater rim and the highlight around the fish eye. Just concurring.

Josh's hometown

Just posted a comment to Josh's last entry asking where his hometown is. Hopefully he can at least answer that question. Stay tuned!
