Dam seems to be about a mile west of the memorial bridge

Nearest park seems to be Bechtel Park, which doesn't seem noteworthy. Not far is Antione LeClaire Park, which has a memorial to Bix Biederbecke (famous jazz musician).

Sweet! So MensV got us on the right track. Now we just need to narrow it down to a more specific location. McFly mentions the possibility of 'forgotten clues'. Maybe we need to recap everything we have so far.

Parks closest to the dam are:
Centennial Park
Leon "Bix" Biederbecke Memorial

The Oakdale Memorial Gardens are also pretty close to L&D 15... They're not actually in a park, but are right around the corner from Garfield Park?

There's also a minor league baseball park in the shadow of Centennial Bridge, but I don't see how a memorial would fit into it, so maybe not. Interestingly, though, the name of the park-- Modern Woodmen-- is also the name of an insurance firm whose timeline looks awfully morbid. I doubt it's connected, but still cool to find

All right, eyes are crossing, time to pack it in. McFly suggests we look at lock and dams with parks near them, and see if any seem to match up with any old clues in any way. There is a list of the L&D's here

but nothing leaped out at me. So I went thru all posts back to page 20, and the clues that seem like they still might have some juice in them are pretty few...

- The I on the side of the doc with the dots; I for Iowa, or something else?
- Never really sorted out what the 3 towers are
- Still something about "their sin" that seems awkward to me, making me wonder whether there is something more to it
- Still not sure what the choice is going to be; 2 locations, but which 2?
- "See past the motives of those among you working against you"; presumably someone (or 2 people I think she said earlier) are working to keep us confused (in which case there are succeeding mightily); not sure what to do about it though
- Tank #489731? From the security memo; just a random number?
- Something we missed in Jamie's letters?

Maybe explore L&D15 in more detail and something will crop up? I looked at streetview off both ends of the memorial bridge looking for 3 towers, but no luck...

To me, more of the clues point to Bix Biederbecke Memorial park than the Lock and Dam 14. However, that could be the point.

Yeah, it's a case of they know what we know, and we know they know what we know, so what exactly do they want us to know? And I think what they mean by people feeding us info is some of our fellow forumites
