Isn't shipping 'top secret' stuff by train also the most efficient cargo-wise (weight, size, load max) as suggested AND a quite covert way of moving said merchandise? I believe that's why they transport nuclear waste by train — it's the most controllable method for security, quantity and containment.

Trains can run day or night and cover long distances. Regular civilian traffic doesn't interfere or even interact with it except to stop and stare at crossings. Freight cars can offer covert disguise of their contents, and tend to deliver their goods far from most prying eyes of the public. Run a train into a classified depot or area and the 'package' is sealed from public scrutiny from start to finish.

That is, unless someone rams a pickup truck into the engine late one night. Then the poop really hits the propeller! I hate when that happens. Smile

Back to (alternate)Reality....

Now that Josh is back posting seams a little strange for him to have been one "who went underground". Unless, like my original thought, thats all archived information from the 70's on the puter. Since everything thats happening "real-time" is happening in our time (did that make sense?) I'm starting to think Rocketpoppetters.com is just a place holder to keep ppl from GJing. I believe the clues are actually in the e-mails were receiving from CaptainCoop. (Damn, that doesn't make sense either.) Screwy

I'm wondering if Josh's mom wasn't involved with Dan Morris/other train related person somehow and when he was going through her estate he came across the film. The timing is about right for how he recently posted the goods from the estate sale on craigslist. That would lead me to believe that the stuff with Josh Minker is in our time (or very close). They couldn't post digital photographs like he did on the STIES site back then. Especially not of that quality. Now, why they are using an antiquated computer to communicate? No clue, proly not cuz it's more secure...really no clue. I do however, really think he's in our time and is in communication with someone who wants possession of or to expose the contents of the super 8 he found in his mothers estate. Just my 2cents. Dunno if someone's already said this...I'll get my oven ready in case I'm having fish for my next meal.
