Wasn't it light out when he started filming? And then he goes back down stairs...and it's pretty dark.

The voice was weird, and I don't think it actually said anything discernible. Other than that, there's not really much else in the video that we can try to figure out. I've been trying to look for faces or weird shapes while he's in the attic, but so far I haven't found anything.

EDIT: Also, what the hell happens at 1:39? Does he trip?

Yeah, his lights were all on when he went upstairs. When he comes downstairs, they're inexplicably turned off. I agree, there doesn't seem to be much to figure out in this video. But there is the significance of the missing tape, and maybe the whole video is to either 1. make us think there's a mean ghost stealing his tapes and creeping him out or 2. someone(s) have found a way in and around his house without him being aware of it till now.

Either way, creepy lol. Also, I thought the man's voice said "hello?" Might have to watch it again to make sure. And I'll look at 1:39 too.

EDIT: Can't tell if that was a trip or not at 1:39. I'm gonna go with he tripped, but maybe it'd be worth asking?

I think the "Hello" like noise at 2:40 is Matt, he also says Hello before going up in the attic. Yeah, a creepy vid, but I couldn't see any real clues in it. And I don't believe in ghosts. But someone could have been hiding out in his attic, and fled in a panic - it is not impossible that he slipped down the ladder in the dark.

It was definitely daytime when he went up and night when he came back down in a rush. I'm thinking there's some kind of unconsciousness occurring at 1:39 and not just a simple trip. I also took it that he heard a muffled "hello?" and that was what sent him running back downstairs.

I'm thinking that when Matt entered the attic, something even crazier happened. What if it's somehow sets off a time warp of some sort where the "Hello" he heard was actually his own voice.

This would explain quite a bit as far as some of the weird events.

not the first time he says hello, but the second *hello* u hear, the muffeld one before he bolts back downstairs... sounds like its coming from downstairs to me. im sure this is all obvious but im new

It's a phonetics based puzzle game. I think this is just coincidence, but who knows - it's probably worth-while to keep this in mind when trying to tackle this mystery.

Edit: I am not saying the time jump thing is a bad idea, I quite like it, but "realistically" it's a bit of a stretch, plus there is the inconsistence of jumping a few minutes to the past but ending up in the night.

Yeah. I'll email him and ask him to compare his watch, if he has one, or his mobile's time with, say, internet time etc.
