time.php simply gives you the server time, nothing special and is certainly not a countdown.

I use the "Site:http://www.ETC ..." Search offered by Google every day to check up on updates, and this wasn't there.
(It was back in May, when the B4 File activated the RSCOM8 printout, but was gone since then)

A NEW countdown has begun?

And, I still say it's not normal for the creators to leave this information to be found.


One more try here you are talking about the B4 file list because deqna.swf still accesses time.php to see if the countdown is up

i know that this has already been noticed a hundred times before but you must ask yourself...
why would when you type 1 and 2 you get y and n BUT when you do it after you are asked to provide the "device" you can once again type 1 and 2 normally? im just wondering Confused

You can type 1 and 2 normally before the file list loads, too. Who knows why really. We all thought it was a glitch but its gone on an awful long time without being fixed if its a glitch. There's even been an update on STIES since it started happening.

Okay, but the problem remains: unless we can make something out of this 'countup' page, it's not going to be IG and it just backdoor site/serve mechanics. Whether it's "normal" or not really doesn't matter without a definable purpose — it simply *is*.

Without an IG application for the counter, attempting to assign a motive to it is just wheel-spinning.

It doesn't seem to be a visitor count, as it appears to run at a constant rate all the time. It's 2am PT here, and yet the Time page is clicking at one, two or more every couple of seconds (when refreshed). I can't imagine that 60-100 NEW visitors per hour are clicking the RP site at this time of night. If anything, the count 'tick' should be quite slow this early in the morning U.S. time (the site's largest audience share, I'd bet).

Looks like more evidence that it's just a server-side clock ticking away non-stop. For what reason if any, who knows?

 		Okay, the fact that you are able to enter the numbers 1,2, and 0 on the .reenter screen, but not the file list screen makes me think that the device is a series of numbers.

I've tried all the possible 2 digit combinations to no avail.
