[TROUT]Conversation about an Ancient Fish

Hello everybody,
İ want to talk about an intersting conversation on Cloverfield wich maybe have connection with the Coelacanth fish. The conversation is between Hud and Rob.
At 42:00 in the movie

Hud: All I'm saying is a couple of years ago, they found a fish in
madagascar that they thought had been extinct for centuries.

Rob: So what? It's been down there this whole time,
and nobody noticed?

Hud: Sure. Maybe it erupted from an ocean trench, you know?
Or a crevasse. Crevice.It's just a theory.
I mean, for all we know, it's from another planet and it flew here.

Ok, the fish wich Hud is talking about sounds very different.
Maybe we are talking here about the Coelacanth but im sure josh minker
would be very interested for this fish.

The last line is very interesting. Has this something to do with Super 8 'Creature' or is this just a coincidence.

İm sorry if this topic was opened before. Thanks for taking your time.

Except they didn't link to a specific referencing post, which is what it takes to make a really proper trout and why I haven't tagged this yet.

So...
Who wants to complete the process?
