What you typed into images

Exactly what phrase did you type into google and search under images?
"Eric Schuran +fish"
or
"Schuran Jetstream"

I typed both phrases into google and can't find the image you posted.
What page was that on?

This seems to happen with more than a few of Ras's posts.

Ras, you posted:
Quote:
I looked up "Schuran Jetstream" ... It's real. (Prob OOG)

If you're declaring it out of game WHEN you post it, exactly what are we supposed to do with the information you bring? More importantly, why do you bring it up if you know it's not relevant to the game?

There will be tons of non-ARG coincidences to be Googled out there, let's please not post them all here just to fill time (and forum pages). A little discretion goes a long way.

It appears all the fish come from the internet from OOG sites, how did you miss page 7 of 43 Wink

If you were raised in England, or have lived there for some time, I'm sure that had there been any words Josh or Shelly wrote to substantiate your "Josh-England" connection, you would have discussed them.

As guilty as they come, and not convinced. I think there's more evidence for USA. Josh uses Americanisms in his spelling a plenty, and all the evidence we have for sites are American in origin.

Hi Martin!

Believe me, you're not the first person to remind me of that over the years!

Do you know that there have only been a handful of Coelacanth sightings in this century? They've mostly been around Indonesia and Africa, but they're spaced out enough (by 30 years in some cases) that scientists are now looking EVERYWHERE for the Coelacanth. In truth, we know so little about these creatures that we can't rule anything out. I prefer to stay as optimistic as I can!

Thank you so much for visiting the site!

HI Josh,

I'm from Canada and I know for sure that the coelacanth is not a species you will find in the oceans boarding the country.  They belongs in more warm water like you will find around Africa.

Good hunting for your elusive and rare fish!

Martin

When i saw this post on the actual thread/page, it said the email you used to send Josh a message was hlm1963SPLATSPLATyahoo.com (the SPLAT in bold text). But now that i clicked to quote you, the "SPLAT" part of the email is gone. What is up with that???

Anyway, if you emailed using the one with SPLAT included, that email came from Facebook/Youtube/Meemi, which was proven fake and OOG. If not, and this is my faulty reasoning, then i'm sorry for bringing it up.

I clicked on the link on the HLM page.

By the way, anyone else got a reply? The 2nd one I sent is still unanswered.

It's unfiction's way of combating spam. To prevent spammers from successfully using software to scour the site for email addresses they change the @ to SPLAT when you post it, and back to an @ when you quote someone. If you notice when you posted you're version it now says SPLATSPLAT Smile

Anyway, none of the emails, even the gamejacks/oog one's have SPLAT in them.

Photo slider

Multipsychc;

You quoted what someone had said on the other site:

"found that through a link on joshs website. it was through a photo credit on the slideshow."

You then mentioned that it was discussed on page 7, and how could I have missed it?

Thanks, I already was aware of the photo slider and hadn't missed it, but that wasn't my question, for as we all undoubtedly are aware, the references at the bottom of each "fish" indicate where they've come from, and when I read GeoEarth's initial explanation, I assumed he/she was referring to the "fish" with the FPTravels attribution on it, for that has a video, maybe more than one, on the page.

That's why I asked GeoEarth to detail how he/she arrived at the youtube vid commented on.

The reply was, in part:

"the credit went to someone named florin nedelcu. if you click on the name, youll get directed to the travel site "http://blog.hotelclub.com/worlds-10-ugliest-sea-creatures/" if you click on the link to "strange" just above the first photo of strange fish youll be directed to a list of different links one of them being the one about strange places."

So, it wasn't just a case of being directed to one site credited on the photo slider, but going from the photo slider credited "florin nedelcu" and then a link on that page taking you to yet another place/page.

I dunno, but if I had a blog site like HLM and had been posting for a few months with no readers, then suddenly I log in to find a bunch of new readers, I'd be checking the site every day and posting comments/updates etc.

Must be IG..

.. British sarcasm, not criticism-more @ "page 7 of 43"; point being stuff gets buried. ~7000 posts in 2 months and over a year to go Wink

- Guess I kinda missed the point with the link of a link; however the youtube vid was akin to a well matured Camembert

Cheesie, huh (OFF TOPIC)

Multipsych;

Don't know if you're a 3 Stooges fan (don't mention the name "Besser" in the same context), but there was this one short where Curly would go, well, Curly, when he saw a mouse/rat, and would start yelling, "Moe, Larry, cheese! Moe, Larry, cheese!' and they would start digging around trying to find cheese for the knucklehead.

So they'd find something like Camembert and start stuffing down his trap, and he'd say, "No, limboiguh (limberger)!"

Say, this would be interesting--Spielberg has made comedies before--what if this was going to be a comedy, and the "It" that arrive next summer was some sort of cloned/gene sliced cross of one of the Stooges and an alien.

Say, something like Moe with fangs and when he attacks, the head morphs into Curly's and yells "Woooo, wooo, wooo, wooo, wooo, Nyuck, Nyuck, Nyuck!"

Now that may just be the scariest thing I would ever see. (LOL)
