After a 2nd run thru 29-32, I made sure to very intently click on the "Continue" button, then I went back to the menu to confirm that it had recorded my scores, then refreshed Flynn Lives and found that I'd earned the badge.

...again.

I captured most of the finish screen for the levels that I did. You can view the screenshots at http://s464.photobucket.com/albums/rr5/AOW_Waterborn/. I became a bit frustrated with how long it was taking to get through 32 levels, so I did not capture the last few.

Nice job! I didn't see any pics. for anything past level 20. Sad I'm stuck on levels 28-32.
You might wanna create a separate folder for the game pics. Wink

Ha! Circuit Cycles was mentioned in Woot's Flash in the Brain Pan blog today (features flash games).
Quote:
Sure, Circuit Cycles may not seem ahead of its time today, but just play it, okay? Before you judge? Because driving those lightcycles around is still a lot of fun, and plus, can you believe how influential that music turned out to be? You can almost imagine something like that would come from the mind of present-day Daft Punk! Really, it's a shame that Kevin Flynn vanished off the face of the earth all those years ago, because just imagine the sort of video games he'd be creating today… if only we knew where he was... but, whatever, Circuit Cycles is still a blast, and the perfect game for the lunch hour.

These bikes almost can turn a silver dollar. The controls are amazing.

Finally finished it. The sound of light cycles crashing will forever remain deep within my psyche as a symbol of pure, unadulterated frustration. ARG

High score: 89585

23 is looking like a real nightmare. This game may give me an aneurism.

Happy dance, happy dance... Passed the freakin' thing, all 32 levels... Happy, happy dance, don't care what my score was... Happy, happy, joy, joy...

Okay, taking a chill pill now. ~Whew!~

It figures there would be a major discovery when my laptop got hit with a virus. My friend reformatted it for me and I picked it up tonight. Once I got back online, I was greeted with news on a new game that was discovered from the postcards. What a difference two days without the internet can make, haha. Can anyone give me a quick run through of how the game link was finally discovered and any other relevant updates?

Has anyone hit every single block DEAD CENTER on every single level?

I would think that would be the only thing left to check for another possible achievement.

I'm going to work on that throughout the day. If anyone has already PLEASE let me know and save me the time, otherwise I'm on it.

At immense personal risk to my own sanity, I went ahead and bit the bullet on this one - I finally managed to accomplish a run-through tonight hitting dead center on every single disc on every single level.

....and NOTHING. It did bupkus. However, I did NOT try it on cleared data - I did it replaying through an account that had already beaten it. Not sure if this would affect it... but I'm certainly not going to try again! Crimminies, that was HARD! Shocked

Wow! Bit the bullet indeed!
I'm gonna venture to guess that you're probably the first person to dead-center all of the disks.
The game may not give you a badge for having done it, but you get a thumbs-up from me!

Odd question here, but has anyone had trouble logging in to their FL accounts in order to save their progress and/or achievements? I initially logged on with my account, which was accepted by on the Circuit Cycles site, but it later showed me as not being logged in. Later on I went to FL and logged in there first and then tried the Circuit Cycle site again, which still wouldn't recognize my status as being logged in. I would really like to actually have my achievements saved so I don't have to go through this game in one sitting. For some strange reason, the first achievement didn't even show up for me once I completed levels 1-8, I'm not sure if there is something wrong with my computer, or if this is something that has been happening to others as well...

Nice job! I did the same yesterday on cleared data, again nothing. I quit back to menu after I died so I wouldn't be credited with a score on a level that I messed up on. I should have given up on this idea anyway due to the center-hits carrying into your final Level score even after dying.

I just played a little this morning and it looks like the extra center hits when dying on a level are no longer being added? I wonder if they fixed the scoring system. If they noticed it and fixed it two things come to mind. "If high scores DON'T matter, why fix the scoring?" and "I should have run my score waaaay up when it was broken." Smile
