Its 'disc pickup' . that never came up during all 32 of the rounds/levels. So there must be another thing to this game to get another 'unlock'.
Huh? Disc Pickup, is that another badge?

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm a fool. They're bonuses that get added to your points.

Ran the game twice now. that bonus never came up. wondering if we need to get the score that much higher? like in the recognizer game in space paranoids?

Disc Pickup is part of the scoring in each level. when it tallies up your score for the level, disc pickup is part of that tally. it's not some crazy extra.

It just happens quicker than you can see. It shows the multiplier times the number of disks picked up. You see 0000 but you miss the actual points counting down because it happened to fast. "Center Strike" works the same way.

To see what I mean start at level 1 again. Before moving either bike count the total disks on screen. There's 6. Finish the level. It should show "Disk Pickup 25x6: 0000". 25 is the multiplier and it climbs as you go up in levels. 6 is the total disks you picked up that level. The 0000 was actually 0150 (25x6) that was added on to your score.

Got it? Wink

Just got my first postcard today and I saw the solve for the black strip thing.. Reminds me of the good old days of Perplex City Season 1.

Edit, just noticed an orange sticker on my card.

"Don't miss Flynn's Arcade 7/22-24"

I'm guessing they have another meet organised at Flynn's next week.

pps, maybe it refers to last years meet or it could be this years meet.

Already discussed, but yes, Flynn's Arcade returns this year.

Which card did you get? And (Assuming you're not this Cherokee Parks) do you maintain a film or gaming blog?
(Just trying to determine whether any of us regular players will be getting round 2 cards.)

I recieved the Space Paranoids card. I've been trying to post a scan of the card, but the page crashes when I try to add attachment.

My nickname was given by a friend of mine who watched basketball.
I'm just a hobbyist.

mach1monorail had posted two scans at the start of this thread, that was the basis of my assumption.

I joined up cause of the article in Empire magazine.

Some of us "regular players" never received round 1 cards...

Thanks,

This bodes well for the chances of getting round 2 cards.

As for the attachment issue, just point to the file and hit submit.
There's currently an issue with multiple attachments, I think (Which requires hitting the "Add Attachment" button.).

Call me crazy, but how was this puzzle solved? Some are still getting postcards. I've not seen any posts with determinative evidence. In addition, there are no posts with a full overlay of all known cards. I know about the ENCOM Japan site, the Circuit Cycles and the new countdown, but again; How is the postcard puzzle solved? Sad

The magic starts on page 57 of this thread.
