Tron / Encom phone themes.
How about Tron / Encom phone themes? I've been toying with the idea of an encom theme for a couple of my phones for a while now, I think it could be interesting. I also have a graphics artist and a programmer who help run my site (Though the artist is mid house move currently and temporarily unavailable) so I could possibly arrange for symbian apps etc with countdowns to events related to the release...

I know someone made one for the droid phones, but mine are Windows Mobile (TyTn II and Toshiba TG01) and symbian (E63 and N95 8Gb)

That's a VERY good question... I think I better hit google and find out heh.

Just as a matter of interest, does anyone know what phones were used as the drop phones? I saw a pic of the paris one and it looks like a motorola l9 slvr?

Ok TG01 - 480 x 800 pixels, 4.1 inches
TyTn II - 240 x 320 pixels, 2.8 inches
N95 8Gb - 240 x 320 pixels, 2.8 inches
E63 - 320 x 240 pixels, 2.36 inches

Looks like the only difficult one will be the TG01 but to be honest the battery life is so bad on those I hardly use it.

 		..... okay folks, I just had a seriously awesome idea. You know those postcards we got with the vintage game art? Imagine scanning those in high resolution, then printing them on t-shirt transfers...

I don't know about the patches but the art for the buttons are all finished. Those of us working on it are just trying to figure out the logistics of making and paying for so many buttons. To date there would be 22... Shocked

HELL YES!

But I would like to say with this idea, the images are Disney IP. It's one thing if we do this process ourselves and make one-off fanart, it's another if someone generates these and sells them, even if that means just covering the costs of making them.

Besides, I'd be curious to see the creative ways people can generate their own shirts.

 		For those of you playing around with the idea of a phone theme; here is the attempt I made at it a lil while back. Project had to be put on pause because of school and work, but thinking I may try and pick it back up and get some completed themes out. Also, if anyone wants any of the custom image files I made for this theme for use in making your own just pm me.

 		i keep thinking about doing a black t-shirt with Flynn Lives on the front, it would have to be one off and my badges on the back. I'd like to put the new Data Disk at the top of the back, maybe 1/2 inch below the collar, and have my earned badges listed like a concert tee. you know how they list the dates and locations? The badge logo with the description next to it, any thoughts? How reliable are the iron on things that you can print out? I'm still toying with the idea, and I'm waiting until we're done so I don't leave a badge off.

 		It's obvious that for the FL swag, it's a seller's market, especially the shirts. So I really don't expect to ever get one. But at the end of the day, it's just a friggin' shirt, I can just make one.
I would like to get it as close to the real thing as possible, but I do not want to devalue the real shirts that are out there in any way.

There are 3 different brands used for the official shirt that I know of, American Apparel, Tultex Jersey and Anvil. I'll make sure to use some other brand so they don't get mixed up with the real ones. I have no interest in selling them or using them for trade. I just want to wear it proudly as a player of this game.

That being said, I do not have photo shop or any photo manipulation skills. I'm wondering if I can get a really clean jpeg of the image on the shirt with the length and height.

Actually 2 jpegs would be the best, one with the black background and one with a clear background (if possible) just in case the black of the shirt does not match the black of the image.

Again, I have no plans on passing it off as an official shirt. Does anybody have a problem with me doing this? If there is enough resistance, I'll just drop the idea. But I just want to make one for myself to wear.
