[PUZZLE] "Inclusion" 3rd Cell Phone Game

In the youtube video of the London events there is a short clip of a 3rd cell phone game which hasn't been seen yet. (If it turns out to be from Mainframe Liberator I'll feel really stupid, but I've played the tutorial and the gameplay looks nothing like what I saw.) The clip appears at around :29-:31 seconds in of this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0P1qqqMidtg (I've attached a screenshot.)

My purpose for posting this is twofold, 1) can someone confirm this is not Mainframe Liberator, and 2) this game may be released already (it probably isn't, but it's worth looking right?)

Nope it's definitely not Mainframe liberator. I think it's another app Nokia is developing for the events in London.

Well, it's being released this weekend, but it's unclear whether it's separate from the live events or a part of them as this news article says conflicting things.

"Next weekend sees the launch of the third free game that has appeared as part of the action." Makes it sound exactly like Exclusion and ML.

"This Saturday, a new augmented reality game is planned for release on OviStore, together with the live action event in London, the first of four, it seems. The former will be free, while the latter requires registration – though it's also free." Makes it sound like something completely new.

Although I suspect there may in fact be two completely separate games, one really an app for the live events, the other in the spirit of Exclusion and ML.

Guess we'll find out in a few days.

I've been playing through this a bit yesterday and today. Quite a fun little game. Smile

There's an online mode where you log in using your CFG username to sync up to a "global hacking effort" into CCTV cameras. It shows a map of a portion of London between London Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral and also connects to GPS to track your position. It says the camera network is currently offline so I assume at some point we'll either be notified that it's on or we have to activate it somehow.

Everywhere in the game it has remarks like "cracked by SPADES" so I assume the knave might be able to offer up some pointers on what we need to be doing with this. Of course the alternative is we use it as part of the event next saturday.

In the help section it says "For details of finding and hacking cameras in the location-based online mode, visit www.conspiracyforgood.com/77472/bb_scada_cracked/faq". I've posted a question on there asking for more details.

Think that's everything so far. Still playing through the offline mode at the moment but so far no signs of any codes that are unlocked but its still early days. Will update if anything comes up.

Those of us without compatible Nokia cell phones would really like to follow along. If this game follows the pattern of the others I can take it apart and let us have some semblance of being included, but in order to do that I need the game file and so far it hasn't been released anywhere I can find.

If some ambitious nokia owner wants to try to find the link for us here's a guide I found that may work: http://www.insiderforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9906 The last few lines of the instructions can be ignored, the raw jad or jar files are sufficient, no editing necessary as these are free games.

On the other hand it will no doubt be online in the next couple of days anyway so it's probably not really worth the trouble.

i think there is no point in trying to contact jack at all in this matter

his last response to me was over 20 days ago...and i'm certain the last thing he did reply to was about penelope's hat, just a few days after that

i know for a FACT he's not even reading our emails at this point--the last thing i sent him was an unlisted youtube video to this date has not been viewed (i actually did it as a test to see if he WAS opening our mails)

i mean, if you want to go ahead, be my guest

but i'm done wasting my precious breath and time on him

The Flash/web version is online though there is nothing doing there. To get to it there is a red camera icon and the words "Secure the Area" with a button beneath that says "Start Hacking!" clicking that takes you here:
Direct Link: http://conspiracyforgood.com/map/hack

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Link where you can practice, this isn't official or anything I stumbled across it (hence the spoiler tags): http://conspiracyforgood.com/CCTVLoader.swf

Don't click the cities they don't work, click the "Start level no." you can enter whatever level number you want (First level is 0). It also helped me to right click the flash and click "Show all"

Since the cell phone owners get to practice I think it's only fair that we do, it's actually a fun game once you get the hang of it. At it's heart it's a tower defense game, which personally are one of my favorites. Anyway you spread white blocks around to enclose the towers and "activate" them, they use the purple cfg icons (called schedulers) to draw energy, when the schedulers run out some of the blocks disappear and you have to reencircle the area. When you see the blue folders pop up click and hold down on a nearby turret to give it a power boost. Also when the turrets are enclosed you can reposition them.

Sorry for double post, important new info.

If you haven't seen the blog post: http://www.conspiracyforgood.com/public/view/540 I highly recommend reading it. The cameras can now be discovered! I think you may need help hacking them so I recommend going into chat to get help (see my signature).

The Lat/Lon coords are also in that blog, I bet you can't guess who discovered the "mysterious" info. Twisted Evil
