New photos of the tollhouse are up!
I'm noticing a couple of strangenesses...
1. Discolored area on the left side of the painting above the sideboard.
2. Paper mostly hidden beneath the rug in the kid's bedroom.

Interesting to note that the blurb about Mattel would date the paper to 2168. Not sure what to make of the design running down the side of the page.

If you are referring to the black and white boxes, they are QR codes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EZcode
We need someone with a smart phone to download the app and scan them. I don't have one and my Dean is out of town (he helped me out for Aguatero).

Read those links, guys. I don't think those events have happened yet.
We are talking stuff in the future here: "hover rounders" ... 158 year old woman ... a job listing for a "Laser Gunner"?!?
ETA: Frankly, I don't think we're even talking about Earth here...

Yeah, after reading the article it all seems weird. Like either time travelers or items from the future are being left in these old houses. Im guessing that the happy 130th bday card would be a "normal" age in the future of 2176?

Are those....sock puppets in the comic strip at the bottom of the "newspaper"?

3 current ARGs have included sock puppets. Socks Inc. is getting a lot of attention. I am willing to bet the PM behind ASAP read the forums. So with the inclusion of sock puppets, I'm in!

Well cool; this is an unexpected twist...
So the bit about the 200 year old paper (so roughly 1968) makes a reference to Daleks. Not seen Dr. Who, but I gather it's around 1968 when the Daleks made their first appearance in Dr. Who?
Makes sense, because some of their other chatter on the forum referred to Dr. Who...

I could just be seeing things that I want to see. They could be snakes or something else for all we know. But welcome shrtyscott anyhow.

I think I've seen a total of TWO Doctor Who episodes in my life, but one of them was Daleks in Manhattan , which had the Daleks building the Empire State Building in 1930s New York.

I sorta figured this would have something to do with Dr. Who since one of the volunteers mentioned that they have a TARDIS as one of their buildings and its used as an avatar. I'm more of an old-school Dr. Who fan (Tom Baker is the bomb!!) but I'll lurky-lurk on this one and see if it strikes my fancy.

I've been watching this quietly and yeah, there do seem to be a lot of Doctor Who references, and suddenly a newspaper from the future? I really wouldn't be surprised if they suddenly see an odd man in a fez running about.
Because fezzes are cool.
I do hope this turns out to be Doctor related, I need something to sustain me after that finale.
