Great Great , so we have seen this before, did we solve it? Is there already an answer floating around? I have not seen one,.
I did a search before I posted this, but with so many pages of Ilovebees stuff, it is hard to get any result other than related to that game.
So if there is an answer, please post it here, if not , then obviously this is a valid puzzle, as the game doesnt really start until Oct. 31.

Decompiled flash So I downloaded the flash source file from
virtuquest.com/flash/CUBE6.FLA
And then opened it and looked around. I found the following email address
sergeydbSPLAT yahoo.com
I googled this email address and found that this was the creator of this flash cube. I found this link
http://www.flashkit.com/movies/3D/Other/3D_rotat-Sergey_D-4913/index.php
I downloaded the spinning cube, and opened it to find the same flowers (the example cube uses the flowers). What looks like happened here, is that they used an example flash thing, and just added their own images, but never deleted the old ones from the flash library. Let me know if I am mistaken in this.

Now that makes sense Thank you, jerebnibob, that makes sense. Now I can stop scouring these rose society sites for pics.

Any Virtucube hits Well, if I am not mistaken, wasnt Virtucube supposed to launch today? Has anyone gotten an email or anything from them? Is this the quietest launch ever? Just wanted to get this some attention in case we all forgot about it.

Virtucube has been updated, it appears the game has begun....
http://www.virtuquest.com/index.html
By clicking on different colors of the cube you get four different puzzles or "not yet'. Apparently you can purchase a T-shirt and receive additional random clues.

Ah! The joys of marketing.
Apparently there's a 500$ prize of sorts too.
On that page, just looking at the letters in bold, it says
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
there is nothing here
Red herring? Evil empire?
Any ideas?

Will we be setting up an IRC chat / wiki for this game?
The principal difference between this game and the ARGs is that it can be completed (presumably) by a single person, at any time. There's also the bit where we can cooperate if we please, but only one person is going to win the $500 prize. So, perhaps the forum is the best method of communication for this game...

I disagree..
I mean, how do we even know that's not a red herring?
And plus, what fun is it if we just leave eachother in the dark all the time?
