God damn San Diego gets all the cool shit Sad Toronto gets nothing.

Take it from someone who's always name-dropping Toronto... it's not quite rare, but when it is in Canada, it's Vancouver or Toronto - Toronto is important. =)
Give SD a break - Comic-Con is its event, and the rest of the country/continent/world doesn't get when San Diego gets, so it's not just Toronto Wink

If you want more live events, move to New York or some major Cali city. That's where stuff happens the most. Otherwise, Toronto's the next best place if you stay in Canada.

I'd love to make it again this year, but not sure if I'll be able to. Had a good time last year though!

I have an extra wristband if someone wants to use it tonight. I think the code has been used so it is just to get into the event. PM me if you want it

So, maybe I just missed it, but has anyone let us know what's on the flash drive? I'd imagine it's the new trailer, but I'm definitely curious to know.

I'm bummed that I couldn't be there in San Diego to participate (yet again Mad ). But congratulations to the people who got to be there, hopefully you're in for something really cool tonigh– well, right about now, actually.

On another note, I too am crossing my fingers for identity discs to go out in the mail.

Oh, cool deal. I imagine that they don't have the annoying Yahoo! Movies watermark, so hopefully we'll get some versions of the trailer without the watermark uploaded soon. (Yeah, I know, what can I say? I'm picky)

Wow, to explain the exhaustion this SDCC "mission" took is exhausting in itself. Imagine first they tell us FL agents to keep our eye on the twitter feed and spit out a bunch of directions in reverse order - and if you missed the first mission with the "yellow" bike, you had to wait another hour before the next attempt came along. You had no idea what you were busting your butt for or what you were looking for until others around you clued you in!

Imagine now you add into the fact a lot of people's iphones were not picking up wifi in order to keep refreshing Twitter - and monitoring twitter took its toll on phone batteries city wide! Trying to monitor twitter for updates roughly a hour apart - that's challenging in itself!

Like many agents, I missed the boat on getting a photo with the yellow bike (no one suspected a POSTER of one!) and whilst amidst other confusion, made some good friends and met some awesome people from here.

Then the second mission comes in - which requires us to run, literally - RUN as if you were being chased or shot at - five blocks to get to the next photo location and then run another block hoping you're not already too late to snag one of the 32 packets - per hour.

Let's not forget that if running wasn't hard enough with traffic and crosswalks to have to wait on - you also had to get to the "poster item" location in under a few minutes because that's as long as they had the poster up to get the crucial photos of you standing alone in front of it to qualify for the check in!

I managed to get a pic with the tank - but fell just 3 people short of the 32 person cap - leading to one last for success or bust. While this was going on too, David Hasselhoff and his daughters were cruising around the block singing and throwing off "hoff fans" (his head on a stick) to people below while 3 of my friend's KITT cars cruised from behind the tour bus.

You go through all that, throw wearing a heavy leather jacket - and literally gasping for breath from the rapid panic sprint as instructions came in - and that about sums up what it was like for me to do this objective in uber crowded San Diego!

Let me tell you something, when a fat person is able to sprint faster than you are - carrying more crap than you are - they REALLY want to win the prize. That's inspiration right there. Exercise and determination at its finest.

Needless to say, after failing twice - for me the third time was the charm!

Right place, right time, and good people who decided to work together rather than compete.

Truly it was a memorable and exhausting day of events.

I mean in the sense of ARG's the only ARG that had alot going on up here was Dark Knight which was amazing, but for most of the other ones we may get one event and its quick and then over. Then we have our mail delayed like much longer than the states so we get stuff we already read about lol.

There has to be a ARG based in canada sometime!
