In looking for information on ee cummings "In Just-", I came across the following commentary:

which compares the "goat-footed balloonman" to Pan, the satyr of greek mythology. In chat, Hojo found another commentary:

which refers to two Pans, the satyr and Peter Pan, with the comment "Like Peter, he is the spokesman of wish"

We should see if any of our Aglaura contacts have seen a balloon vendor around town. Possibly one will show up for the Easter Egg hunt this weekend. Will anyone with a good relationship to any of the townsfolk make inquiries?
