Just a heads up- it may not be your computer. The site is glitchy as hell.
Also, if you, like me, had trouble seeing around especially for getting to the safe haven, turn out you gamma in your computers display options- it'll be much easier.

Official Tron Website List you thoughts, gripes and other trivia! Hey gang!
Since the new site was up and running, and has a TON of Tron-related canon info. I'm sure we can use all these goodies to our advantage in the upcoming months.
The only problem (it's a biggie) is that I can create a character, but not save the progress. This effects the fact that I collected half of the glowing orbs (30 out of 60 = 30,000 points) and the site refused to update. Oh, and Unity Web Player Crashes in fullscreen. So that's two!
Now, let's hear from the rest of you!

Pretty much the same gripe. Except I had collected a LOT more points and orbs! I spent about two hours on that site yesterday bouncing around all of the information and collecting points after creating my character. About twenty minutes of that was spent trying to figure out how to save my progress. I finally gave up and decided that maybe it would be logged through my IP or cookies or something. Shut it. Went back later to show my girlfriend when she got home and... nada.
It's a nice site with plenty of info. But why even bother with this point and character system if you can't save any of your progress??

The official site seemed pretty buggy to me, it even seems to have some significant lag issues.
I tried creating a character and doing the lightcycle game-thing but the site kept freezing at my first stop.

I ripped 6 mp3s of the Daft Punk TL soundtrack off the 'very buggy' new TL official Site, anyone want me to upload them?

Yeah, I'm sure, but in 117 klbps birate, they might as well wait for the soundtrack to leak.

Same gripes. Profile saving seems like something they should have had working at launch. And the webcam feature for creating a custom helmet/face is nonop as well.
I also grabbed the Daft Punk tracks. Hooray for unprotected directories, programs.
Has anyone tried entering Hello Flynn codes into the official site to see if they unlock anything? (Trout me if necessary).

One more thought; Why hasn't the Flynn Lives Site been updated? Any thoughts?

Could be waiting until SDCC is over, and Flynn's has closed up (yet again)?

Just saw in another thread that they will be giving out tickets to get in.

Yeah. That track 5 splits the ears at that bitrate. (Or perhaps that is the desired intention on the part of DP.)

Well, I think given SDCC have taken alot of planning, detail and work out of 42 Entertainment, and the fact that FL said they were going 'underground' for a while does make sense, at least to keep up the 'continuity' of the ARGs. I expect FlynnLives itself, in tandem with Encom Corp, will both start up again by early to mid August 2010.
