Alright, my buddy has a panel to get to at 2:30, so until later he's given up the search. He's following them on twitter, so we'll be able to pounce tomorrow hopefully.

Here are the three twitpics that have been posted today. I know a couple were posted individually, but here they are aggregated.

Also, I think looking at the buttons might be worth doing. Passed that on already. They just tweeted that they are off to refuel, so hopefully my buddy can hook it up after the 2:30 panel he goes to.

Who'd be in the movie

Was quite strange that someone "who appeared to be in the know" would take a photo of someone who asks/says something to the RP popsiclettes.

Filmedge said:
"If J.J. is serious about fans 'starring' in the film, I wouldn't be surprised if these Comic-Con photos being taken of fans end up as props in the film: file photos of government cases, scrapbook pics, wall 'family' photos... something like that."

Could be, but at least when I was involved in the media, to do something like that, where someone definitely could be recgnized, there'd have to be a written release.

But the thought of the audience being in the film is very enigmatic and perplexing. With very brilliant people, the sky's the limit.

Unfortunately, that's illegal without signed releases for each person's right of publicity.

edit: Xeno took the words out of my mouth. The for profit, non-newsworthy publication of a person's image is proscribed by right of publicity laws. Although in public, we're entitled to protect our own image when used for commercial purposes, thus a signed release is necessary. No film production company, no matter how guerilla, is going to surreptitiously take your photo or video of you and begin even pre-production based on the photo without a release.

RP button

If I tilt the image of the button about 30 degrees to the left, it vaguely looks like a robot, but that's just from zooming in, perhaps someone has a way to isolate and enhance that image better. Shocked

As much as I really loved Gort, I really hope this isn't going to be a villainous robot. Sad

^ Pretty sure it's 1B03193 and it's a MUCH older California plate. Not what a custom plate recently created would have.

Also, written on the side are these popsicle "fleets" landing soon to your grocer's freezer, along with Lime and Orange flavors of the Super Speedflier Fleet:

Coops ______ Fleet
Brain ______ Fleet
Twin Teamwork Fleet
Sonic Strength Fleet

All with various flavors. Blanks are for words hard to read from that picture.

Also, the truck has a license plate holder that says "Real Spacemen Love ROCKET POPPETEERS!"

Laughing

Now this sucks. It's awesome there's an udate, awesome they did this, I'm presuming at comicon unless I read wrong, and awesome of awesomeness they even got a truck....but it sucks they snuck that in there and only the CC people would've seen it.

What would they have done if nobody noticed?

Thing I noticed:

The first two tweets done almost a day ago were from 'web'. When the bus was driving around it was via 'iPhone'. The latest tweet saying they are refilling is also via 'web'. Nothing to make of this yet. I'm just paying attention to it.
