needlessly enigmatic... grrrrrr
I honestly have no idea what to do with the email codes. I've tried every code type I'm familiar with, and none of them match the output of this. It can't be the Discordian cipher as a) the numbers are not in order and most importantly b) you need to know the message to break the message.
Have to love the Discordian Catch 22 LOL
I'm still very curious as I love breaking codes, but this one is stumping me. After looking at the initial email more I'm thinking it may not be a clear cut sub cipher.
My main reason for this is the 666, 333, and 222 which show up a few times. Don't know of many three letter words that are all the same letter But this does bring up the question as to wither this is words coded into numbers or if each number is a single letter.
I'm kinda leaning to the latter if that's the case, mostly because of the very small amount of punctuation used. It looks to be about 3 sentences.

Possibly a book cipher with the numbers representing the nth letter (or word, I guess) in the text?

IF that's the case then I would say the first book I would try is the Principa Discordia.
Anyone have a copy?

I think Rogi Ocnorb is meaning for the first email. I know that's more what I was meaning to try.

Was thinking that the zeros are spacers.

Tried a light approach. Got a pun as reply which doesn't look integral to the decoding.

You say "I Simply wish to worship Eris,"
We say "do as you please, the door is just a jar."

Odd phrasing. Isn't it normally "The door is ajar"? Not to mention a jar is not ajar.
Edit to fix an oopes on my part.

Least it didn't say the cake is a lie....but there's still time.
The multiple numbers, could they be filler maybe?

I thought maybe it was a literal clue as in a .jar file, which is a Java Archive file. Java archive files can be opened like any zip file. Other than converting gas.jpg to gas.jar or maybe saving the numbers into a .txt then converting to .jar I don't know how that could help us as a clue.

This is not my turf, was just googling (well, technically yahooing) around and there was this....would it maybe apply if this is discordian related?
Quote:
The Law of Fives
The Law of Fives is summarized on page 00016 of the Principia Discordia:
The Law of Fives states simply that: ALL THINGS HAPPEN IN FIVES, OR ARE DIVISIBLE BY OR ARE MULTIPLES OF FIVE, OR ARE SOMEHOW DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY APPROPRIATE TO 5.
The Law of Fives is never wrong.
In the Erisian Archives is an old memo from Omar to Mal-2: "I find the Law of Fives to be more and more manifest the harder I look."
It is worth noting that the Law of Fives includes the word "Five" four times.
Like most of Discordianism, the Law of Fives appears on the surface to be either some sort of weird joke, or bizarre supernaturalism; but under this, it provides deep insight into how (Discordians believe) the human mind works. Omar's note that he finds more examples of the Law of Fives at work the harder he looks is key to understanding this.
Appendix Beth of Robert Anton Wilson's Illuminatus trilogy considers some of the numerology of Discordianism, and the question of what would happen to the Law of Fives if everyone had six fingers on each hand.
from here
It's funny though...luring me into reading it. I'm going with "wrote it to himself while on an acid trip" though ;-p
