[Possible Trout]Creepy

Okay I was listening to Creepy.wav, and exactly 24 secs into the wav, in the background you hear a faint sound while Durga says "That would be impossible "sound" I would know" I don't think this was noticed, and I can't believe I heard it, might be a trout, as well The only thing that I think might be that sound is one of the bee.wav that we got evry early on.

That was Evil........... anyways could it be the sound of something listening in on them? I think it has to do a lot more than with irony that they say "I wonder if we're being listened to now" or..... whatever they said.

I agree. I still think Jersey has some idea that he and Durga are being listened to (perhaps he's sending the transmissions out?) and is just testing Durga to see if she notices. I think I mentioned that here.

that might be it, unless it's more like Jersey Doesn't know he's got the device on him.

But he suspects it? And is just testing Durga to see if she gives anything away? Hmm, that's possible too.

Maybe he's not nearly so trusting of Durga as he lets on... maybe Durga's right and he's "smarter than people give [him] credit for."

I think that Jersey doesn't seem like that kind of guy, he likes Jazz music too much, and is too attached to his father, and an upstanding citizen (remember the tax thing?)

Err... but then, if you just nixed both of my suggestions, doesn't that just leave "irony" as the only reason for this exchange? And isn't that what you were questioning? Heh... how ironic.

Anyway, maybe there's some other reason that neither one of us has come up with...

I just listened to the wav again - it sounds like the "winding down" that accompanies the end of each story arc. I think that we're just catching the end of the wave file that Durga is playing for Jersey in...well, whatever is right before creepy (I'm listening to a compiled file.)

Something just occurred to me, by the way. Jersey knows darn well that Durga's recording him. Or, at least he should. After all, how else could Durga use his own "Daaamn!"

I SPEC that Durga was "doing an impression."

Of course Jersey expects Durga to remember every word he said. She's got perfect memory. She's a computer.

He wouldn't be telling her things and expecting her to forget them a second later.
