Use this link instead to see it:

http://www.rocketpoppeteers.com/time.php?time

Actually, just use any word after the slash besides 'img' to see it.

Yes, I've cleared my cache, used different browsers... the main URL still has no update.

To me, adding a /(anything) after the main URL is *not* an update to the main page. It's a test page or whatever you want to call it... but if it doesn't show up on the straight URL, no subdomain, it doesn't seem like an actual IG update (yet).

Well, now it shows up at the base page. I was just suggesting if you wanted to see how it looks when it shows up...

I wonder if those who see the 'update line' clear their caches and still see it? Might be the reverse that their browsers are now holding on to it while others either don't see it now or never did?

The only way I've seen the update is to look at any URL *but* the basic RP.com domain. Liked that countdown thing on the 'time' page, that doesn't seem very 'official' to me. Not yet, anyway.

When you load a URL other than the original, your browser thinks its a new page and requests all new content of whatever URL you request from the server, and since it seems that they've set up a catchall anything appended to the URL is giving you a copy of the usual index of the site.

Your ISP may practice caching of content to reduce actual bandwidth usage. This practice used to be common with AOL, and with other ISPs around the world. The amount of time and changes between site content may be set to a fairly high tolerance, especially if the site rarely changes.

If you are not sure if your browser is using a cached copy, F5 is the default forced refresh of content in basically all browsers. Many also support 5 clicks of the refresh button in rapid succession as equivalent to pressing F5.

My ISP does not cache, and I have performed all possible methods of clearing my cache on more than one machine, and I get the 'check back' message every time.

In other words, if you don't see it its not the site, its you.
