Nice one!! Even if it was a waste of time, it was good fun!
I agree.
First thing I did when I solved it was send mailcarrier the solve, his reply:
Quote:
Congratulations!
round2?
I said Sure.

Nice job Azure... I doubt anyone here, including the mailcarrier, seriously thinks that puzzle-solving is a waste of time...

Nice solve! I personally really hate puzzles like this... *however* I do love collaboration, so I'll stick with it, since we're most likely going to need to work together.
I got a new email, seems to confirm a round 2:

A Carnation Logic Omen
ETD: 7/26/2010 08:00EST.
:: First stop: Nashua, NH ETA: 7/26/10 12:00-15:00
Hello, Pleasure to meet you or nice to see you again.
first things first, congratulations to azurewolf for winning. The first round was—as I previously stated-a 4test, and aw came out on top. if this was the army i would give him the highest honor. However I lack 5the compassion and manpower to be considered an army or even a soldier.
So let's move on. Once I get close enough to the targeted time, I shall disclose where the first drops will 7be. It will be controlled by a first come first serve basis. Anybody interested in it can come by and pick it up. Checking out once again, I'm hoping to see you all on the battle field.
The numbers 4, 5 and 7 stand out to me... hrmm

In case this is more puzzle:
- many mentions of the word 'first'
- allusion to Medal of Honor and mention of battle field
'A Carnation Logic Omen' sounds vaguely like an anagram too.

Indeed... I like "A Laceration Oncoming" myself.

Nice solve AW. RL stuff today or otherwise would have posted a reply I got. Here it is for completion sake. I had responded to his email about it not being a game.

Are there any objections to me tagging and renaming the thread? I was thinking [Trailhead]Golden Apple Society. I think it deserves a trailhead tag at this point.

From ''Find your eyes" to A=11 (two eyes lol) to Props to AzureWolf! Am pretty sure The Roadman is an uFer who is "walking across the united states" so no hoax and the drops should be varied and interesting. G'Luck all.

This got sent to me while me and a friend were working on a different trailhead with interactive e-mail so we were horribly, horribly confused. Props to azurewolf, I have no idea how you did it.

The Road Man has posted some pictures of his current location.
What caught my eye is the dead pixels some pictures have and some don't.
Maybe some pictures where taken before..?

There is a Google Street View of Nashua City Hall. Someone has strung up a banner on the statue below, but I can't make it out. Also, maybe the road man himself http://whoistheroadman.tumblr.com/post/861087251/no-clue-where-im-heading is in the pic and I'm not seeing him...
Also, what dead pixels?
