[OT] Disney Tron Legacy Game

There is a lightcycle game on Disney's Tron Legacy page.
http://disney.go.com/tron/index_flash.html

Has lots of information on the page about Tron Universe as well as some in-game tidbits and Wallpapers.

Ive gotten 57/60 orbs myself, didnt catch all the ingame messages, but got a lot.

Here are the ones i got

Code:
Kevin Flynn and Jordan Canas - Sam Flynn's Mother - in 1983.
Few programs venture into the barren Outlands because energy is scarce.
Space Paranoids and Tron are Encom's most popular games.
Kevin Flynn created a new digital world called the TRON system in 1983. He named it after a heroic program.
Programs in the Grid carry batons that quickly transform into useful tools, vehicles, and weapons.
The first ENCOM World expo was held in 1988.
TRON City has grown quieter as the ruthless, sentry patrols increase.
In 1990, Kevin Flynn was reported seen during a Shakespeare Festival in Central Park in New York City.
In Spring 2010, at an Encom meeting in San Francisco, Sam Flynn jumps out of a helicopter with an 89 symbol on his parachute. He is arrested.
Since the TRON System was removed from the external networks of the Encom mainframe, it was expected it would create a more controlled environment. However, that was not the case.

Man, I could only get 30 before Unity Web Player crashed! I'm curious - How did you manage to get your character account started? I cannot for the life of me figure it out?

How were you able to download the wallpapers? I didn't even come across one (yet)? Oh, and what about the "My Account". Tried that yet?

Hazado,

Where did you get these orbs? I'm stuck at 56/60 and I never saw these messages. I'm sure you got the one that said CLU stands for Codified Likeness Utility.

Between the Grid and End of Line, I found 18. I found 22 in the bridge area, and 16 by the Safehouse. The 4 listed above look like the only ones I'm missing. Did you get the 2 inside one of the rocks by the safe house? As soon as you pass through the tunnel, go left and you have to jump up a ridge to go through a hole in the rock. There's 2 orbs in there.

I noticed Disney's Tron site earlier today, and spent over an hour on it.

It's very nicely done, although driving the lightcycle up ramps ain't easy. And I can't count the times I've launched myself in to an airborne barrel roll by accident. Smile

while exploring the perimeters of the tron game world, i got into areas that were interesting to me -so i started taking some screenshots. it's interesting that there are secret spots you can go around the safehouse, the wall crack area, the rocky flatlands, the area between the grid and the end of line club, and even up the central tower structure. these screenshots aren't comprehensive, but shows you can get there primarily by trying to drive up the walls.

-to get to any area between the grid and the end of line club, there are two turn out lanes on either side of the central road. once you see that rectangular tunnel, you'll see neon blue markings on the road and that they lead behind the barrier. try to jump or get across here and you'll end up in the undesignated area where you can eventually explore up to the edges of the end of line club, the tower structure or other areas around there.

-at the safehouse area, orientation: facing the safehouse, there's a wall rock at the very bottom floor on the far right corner you can start ascending up to explore the rock face and work your way around to the cliff area with the cracked wall entry. it's a challenge because if you explore certain areas, the game might automatically reset back to your beginning position.

-at the flatlands, orientation: on bridge facing the cracked wall, there's a rock to the right that you can climb up and use to jump on the barrier by the bridge to get to the long pathway. also, at the far corners of either side are walls you can angle up to get to the top of the rock face or above and past the rock barrier boundary. shot of the long pathway:

I got 57/60 too. I see a hidden one in the safe house but there is no possible way to get to it. Could it be they haven't made it possible to get 3 more?

hah, I'm glad I am not the only one who did this. I found similar means of getting up to the areas, although the way I got in top in the city area was a bit different. I'll have to take some screenshots or make a video to show you.

I was able to get just about everywhere except for the game grid. I also got to the very top of the map in the city area, that was kind of a pain.

Alas it seems as if they have not implemented 3 of the orbs or something. They definitely aren't hidden anywhere accessible at this time Razz

EDIT: haha I lied. There were so many pictures that I hadn't got to the one where you drive through the hole at the bottom of the side-roads ner the city.
