I am still kicking myself in the arse for not sending my letter in sooner.

Just a word of comfort for those who are lamenting not sending in their letters sooner.
Don't! An ARG of this magnitude won't intentionally leave anyone out! Not to mention after the call to arms with the ice cream truck, a majority of the followers will be people who didn't send in a letter!
I am sure all we'll get that you didn't is the letter LOL

Yippie! Coop's noted my early application!!! I'm in!!!
Took a few tries as I didn't know if I should use the way they wrote my astronaut name or the way I did. Of course, as been noted - it's the way I wrote it (all lowercase letters).

Do you mean this pic? If so I was wondering the same thing and have no idea what it is. I tried to zoom in but loose too much quality. It looks like a reflection of something and it is round like a planet or moon but I cannot tell for sure. Maybe someone with a quality photo editing software can zoom in and clean it up?

I left the first message on the Facebook page. That's all. It said I was reporting for duty

I've tried every possible combination of UPPER and lower case.
Nada!
So, I opened the New Recruits Application.
Under the Astronaut Name box, you can't even type in a SPACE (nevermind any other characters).
I have not gotten a reply from infoSPLAT RP ...
A poster above mentioned having a brother with a Hyphen in his Astronaut Name ... Has he found a way to get in yet?
You didn't mention this option above: did you try entering your name without the colon — if they don't accept spaces in the new recruit form, maybe any punctuation is also considered "null" and should be deleted from entry? Just a thought.

Oh, man. I registered last night, and I sent my letter in over a week ago. I didn't recognize me. Boo. Oh well.

This is what intrigues me. Any one out there able to read a data/punch card? The only info I found was on 80 column cards. I will keep looking but someone with experience at this sort of thing would be helpful.

I believe Euchre had mentioned that earlier. How could they not expect us to find anything not locked down?

They got pulled.
As to the punch cards, it reminds me of the old school tests and computer punch cards from the day.

Don't worry, I saved the .swf file so I can cross analyze them later. They didn't take down the register.swf file though. You can guess that one easily.

Doesnt it seem a bit odd to anyone that this site has opened yet there is no mention of the product? Interesting how the focus is on enlistment rather than the line of pops they offer.
