Here's a punch card emulator if anyone want to mess around. This is for the 80 column 0-9 card.

Btw, you can trout me if you want, but what about this one?
I mean,
    1. why "Complete with a No. 2 pencil only"
    2. are the dots already completed?
    3. if yes, then why in all 50 questions only a and b?

They're not completed. And the A and B are each labeled T and F - in other words, it'd be fifty true-or-false questions. Good eye, though.

Also, an edit: The "Complete with a No. 2 pencil only" is commonplace on computer-read exam sheets in the US. At least it used to be, I don't know what it's like now.

like most scantron pages they always instruct you to use a no2 pencil for the computer to be able to read them

Thank you people, now I've got it with "No. 2 pencil". I didn't know this English terminology, so I though, "if there's No. 2 pencil, I should look for No. 1 pencil" Smile

And thanx for "T and F" expanation, so it could be binary perhaps?

Or we will get some questions later, like in Dharma Wants You? Wink

P.S. Apropos punch cards: here is a nice overview, about the cards
http://www.cs.uiowa.edu/~jones/cards/index.html
But it still doesn't have the cards with only 0-3.

UPDATE. OK, here's also a scanner for Punch Cards:
http://x3270.bgp.nu/x026.html
But I cannot really get the way this thing works. Anybody?

I just turned 40 Shifty Eyes so I guess I am old. My kids think so anyway. It's nice to see that Drewsko respects his parents and holds out for their permission before he registers for something. That is a very honorable thing that too many kids lack these days. Good on you Drewsko!

So I went to the RP site and they verified my membership in the ranks. After, there was a nice little tune played for me!

Troubleshooting

This is my first time posting but I have read this forum since this ARG started. I am having a bit of trouble with the registration process. It finds my file (I sent in the coupon and got the letter) and then I get to the screen where I put my email address and my DOB and when I hit submit application a little screen comes up that says "Hold Tight Submitting Application" but its like it gets frozen there. Am I typing something in wrong? I have restarted the browser about 10 times now to re-try and no luck. I left it sitting this time and it has been sitting at this screen for about 30 minutes now. Is anyone else having this problem? How long did it take for your's to get to the congrats page with the theme song?

I'm sure they will let all that sign up participate - you won't miss anything. Those that sent in the letter will probably just get something a little extra. Very Happy
I am *so* excited!

M@, mine took like 10 minutes to load up. Maybe the form is going through, but it's just having a hard time loading the music and the congrats page?

Don't worry, I saved the .swf file so I can cross analyze them later. They didn't take down the register.swf file though. You can guess that one easily.

Wow, within 8 hours they moved the location of register.swf also so it doesn't show up. The songs are loaded differently too. Lol you guys!
