D: sorry, stick.... I'd come interact with you (i seem to be interacting with everyone else o,o) but I got myself stuck in the situation of planning things for Beam's Creek.

Hmm. Apparently this town is somewhere within the vicinity of Niagra Falls, maybe you can figure out a motive or method of getting to the hub of all the action. I AM planning to move my own storyline to niagra falls eventually, but that may take a while and I'm sure you don't want to wait that long.

Well, since Gatto disappeared, I'd assume that newbies are welcome. o.o

And I was under the assumption that most of the events would be taking place in a small rural-ish area, not Niagara Falls? I have been super busy lately so I haven't caught up in reading everyone's posts (hopefully that'll happen tonight!) but to further clarify -- Sniper, Ashley's inside the bus terminal's waiting room/office. There's an outdoor shelter and this indoor seating with a vending machine, some 25 cent candy dispensers, a washroom (ask the lady for a key) and desk, a phone and a computer, along with the attendant. She'll point people towards the motel if they're looking for somewhere a little more comfortable to stay.

As for the bus being repaired... what's your guys' consensus? Seeing as how I had thought that we were going to play things out in rural town, I was thinking it would take all night (just to give some people a chance to be stalked, if they care for it!) but if you'd rather this all go down at the Falls... well, I'll leave that up to you guys to vote on.

Before we do: is Beam's Creek a real place? If so, I've no preference; if not, I'd rather keep the cast in Beam's Creek: maybe have something of a Slendy-induced "eternal night" (actually, see the next paragraph for a question about that), if we need to? I don't want to have to keep researching Niagara Falls (a popular tourist destination, no?) to make sure I'm not making a mockery of the geography.

On the subject of Slendy-inducing, what are the thoughts on characters who have specific Slendy problems? For example, it's suggested that time travel is possible: so, if one characters gets zapped into reliving the same time frame (see spoiler), how would it be done in the RP? I mean, that character keeps reliving the timeframe, but everyone else moves with the passage of time - will that person keep RPing things as they appear to them, or what?

As for the location I think keep it in this Beam's Creek place. However, on the subject of what slendy will do, I was thinking stuff like, making you relive horrible moments(hallucination), or just plain killing someone. But for specific slendy people, I think he'll either just sorta stalk them, and appear to them more, or yeah, I guess hallucination would work.

But maybe I'm not getting the premise. What do you guys think?

I dunno, I'm thinking we all stick around for the night, Slender Man comes and starts turning everything to shit, and go from there?

I know it's cliched but that's just where my brain is at. I guess the question is, are we planning on having everyone stick together to tough it out once Slendy-boy rears his ugly head, or are we planning on having them spread themselves out along the east coast?

also: i think that we should stick together. It'll be less fun when people start fanning out cuz then when it becomes your own individual fantasy... then whats the point.

Beam's Creek isn't real, I just took some town names between Toronto and Niagara Falls and mashed them together. It's just a small town with one main drive, a bunch of housing, some farms and factory districts, a school, a few churches, a couple of Tim Horton's (These people have their priorities!) and maybe an emergency walk-in clinic but no hospital. Typical Canadian small town.

Oh, and I'm sure plenty of forest.

Let's stick together, or at least resolve groups and have them stick together. That's the point of RP. If a couple of people want to break away and go to Niagara Falls or wherever, feel free, though keep in mind that that limits your contact with the other characters.

To resolve the Slender sightings and stalkings, Gatto suggested that we all decide for ourselves. With regards to hallucinations, make it clear in your post to us that it's a hallucination, or else don't include what the character sees. Some of the players here are inferring too much from what is written, and aren't writing it from what their character would naturally perceive. (For example, someone writes 'John felt nervous and felt the knife concealed in his jacket pocket.' and the player of Jill responds, 'Jill saw that John felt nervous and knew that he was reaching for the knife in his coat.' even though Jill should have no idea that there's a weapon there.) Figure out a way to work in that your character's having symptoms, but you don't have to paint it clearly for the rest of us. You can reveal it over time!

Uh, so I'm a little confused as to what is going on with blahblah's character and that girl, but I think I've caught my character up to the rest of the story. (I was without internet for the past few days...)

i was trying to get my character to do some interaction. but then Adrian and this guy with a knife turned it into them accusing me of a rapist. thats all.
