Casimir walked into the motel, stopped. I suppose the best thing to do is start asking. As a result, he began to hassle random passerbyes with "oh pardon me, madam, but do you have a map of the area?" or "sir, would you happen to have a smartphone thingy with a map on it?" Or variants thereupon, of course.

((OOC: Feel free to see this as an invitation for anyone who would have a map/smartphone with a map function to reply to his request. Or yet more "Casimir is annoying", of course =P))

The smoker was asking for a map. J.T. looked up as he saw him approach him.

"Pardon, do you have a map on your smartphone?" he asked.

"Smartphone? Brother, this thing ain't smart," He held up his phone for the man to see. It was an old MotoRAZR V3 phone; it had a camera and some media options, but that was all. "I can't even get Pong on it."

He saw the man's face fall as he thanked him and walked away. He shook his head. Yeesh, and he thought HE was falling behind on the times.

Adrian had noticed a few people enter the motel. One was asking people a question, all though no one had an answer. He seemed slightly hectic. It was getting on Adrian's nerves. When he walked over to Adrian, Adrian was considering slugging him across the jaw. Instead he just listened.

"Do you have a map of the area?" Adrian glared for a second at the man, then felt his pockets. His phone wasn't there, and he didn't have a map.

"No, sorry, I don't carry them on me at all times." He said in his usual raspy voice, and took another inhale of the cigarette he had in his hand. He blew the smoke out of the side of his mouth. He looked to the woman at the desk who had taken his money. She quickly looked down. Clearly smoking wasn't allowed, but he had just handed over $200, and she probably wasn't going to tell him. Regardless he finished it off, threw it to the ground, and stomped it out. Then he again addressed the man.

"The only thing I can give you, is a cigarette, or directions. No map man." He looked around. There were only a few people here, but it was too many for Adrian. He didn't like people. Especially strangers that talk to you. But he was willing to wait around for a bit more to see if anything exciting was going to happen. So walking over to the wall, and sliding down it slowly, he sat there, watching, and waiting to see new people, and to see if the man would ask for directions.

Adrian would give them to him. Along with a swift "good riddance"

Bri rolled her eyes as she hung up the phone; really, Neil and Katie were even more awkward than Bri herself, but in a way it was cute. She'd known Katie for years and honestly wished she hadn't moved to Ontario; not only did it seperate her from Bri, but it also put the two in the position of long-distance something-or-the-others.
At least she'd been able to catch up with Katie and now give Neil her number- something to tease the pair about later.
She jumped when the smoker approached and stumbled over words for a minute. "HUH? Oh... smart phone... map.... uhhh, my phone is this." She held up her old, reliable brick. "But I had a map of Toronto... Don't suppose Beam's Creek would be on it though..." She clutched her bag to her chest. "Sorry. Um... I'm going to that... station over there... see if there's a hotel in walking distance... The lady at the desk might help..."
She shivered as she walked briskly to the station. At least when Neil got here she'd be around someone she knew; strangers were... intimidating.

((EDIT: Figured out how to fix the sequence of events issue, I edited my last post before this one, too.))

Jeremiah, still with his headphones in his ears, marched off the bus trying to be as polite as possible. Despite his disontentment and, honestly, down right anger, he couldn't fault the bus driver or anyone around him for it. It had been no one's fault, and he had better get used to that or sit around whining and bitching for an entire evening.

And, had anyone known Jeremy here, they would know he was not a whiner.

Trotting dilligentlly towards the motel with his bag in tow, Jeremy sighed and rubbed his wet feet off on the mat inside. He noticed a bench in the lobby that looked like a good place to rest, and too ka seat there while he rejuvenated his energy.

he didn't have to wait long.

Just as he sat down on the bench, a strange thing happened; Jeremy's headphones began SCREECHING at him. A terrible static noise that sounded entirely like nails on a chalkboard or a TV erupted, and he was sure anyone around him could hear it.

Horribly freaked out, he switched off his crappy, old mp3 player and chalked it up to technical failure. He looked around, rather embarrassed, hoping no one else had heard the loud noise.

chris walked off the bus... why was he here? He had a modeling agency and everything. Oh well... better to learn something new before college than stay cooped up in a California suburb.

He might even look sexier without his tan.

Such silly thoughts... chris walked into the motel. everyone here was weird. well.. except this one girl he saw.. she seemed weirded out too. "Maybe I could bond with her.. good thing im not the only freak here"

Chris looked around one more time. Everyone here didnt look normal, like there was something they wanted to tell everyone but couldnt. Whatever.

Chris followed Bri, taking off his jacket to make sure he didnt look like a "little pussy"

Stephen walked off the bus after a man who looked very full of himself. "Great, am I going to be stuck here all night now?" He asked himself. He looked around, saw a hotel, and a few people sitting on the benches. He took his phone out of his pocket and was about to call someone, but he had no signal. "Oh, of course, AT&T has no service out here. Maybe the hotel has wifi." He said to himself, but then he noticed the payphones. "Gah, I only have bills." He said, as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a wallet and sorted through it and pulled out a dollar bill. He looked around and asked "Anyone have change for a dollar?"

((OOC: WOW, I'm popular! I wondered if this would happen when I played a girl... kidding, kidding Very Happy))

Bri jumped when she felt a presence behind her and spun around, bag clutched to her chest. "Can-i-help-you?" she stammered far too fast. Huh, it was a guy, taller than her (but wasn't everyone?) She looked around to see if he was specifically following her or just going with the general flow of traffic from the bus. Oh, there was a chance he might NOT have been after her- yet another socially awkward moment thanks to BeeBee, queen of all things awkward. Fantastic, BeeBee.
But of course if he WAS following her- why?
She eyed him- he looked a little like whatsisface from Twilight. Were werewolves generally rapists? Or ax murderers?
She inched toward the door of the bus terminal, glancing at the few people inside- teenage girl and woman behind the desk.
"Um, hey, if you're getting off the bus and you're lost, this is the bus terminal, I was gonna ask about a hotel over here..."
She looked around and nearly facepalmed. There was a hotel. NEXT DOOR.
Brilliant observational skills.

(Gonna stir up some controversy!)

Adrian looked around, and inevitably made the decision that it was too crowded. People were flooding in. He was feeling uncomfortable. So he stood up, pulled out ANOTHER cigarette, lit it, and headed for the exit. He gave a few people looks, but he was sure almost no one saw him. As he exited, he had planned to go directly to his room when something caught his eye.

A man was following a girl who, when she turned and saw him, turned flustered. Adrian ran over, as the man looked suspicious, and prepared himself mentally. The girl seemed to be trying to get out of talking to the man, but Adrian could handle that.

Catching the man's eye, who looked somewhat familiar, he glared at him slightly. "Is there a problem going on here sir? Can I help you with something?" He asked in his raspy, yet somewhat intimidating voice. His hand was ready at any time to reach for his revolver, but for now, he kept it away from the gun in his pocket.

The girl looked as if she just saw her true love.. well thats what Chris thought. It didnt matter what she said. Something about a Bus Terminal? Whatever.

Hahaaa Im just gonna reel this cutie in thought Chris.

Chris noticed some weirdo looking at him.

What's this scrawny guy doing trying to talk to me? But then Chris realized he was portraying the wrong image.
Out of instinct he grabbed the girl and said "No um just trying to say hi."
damnit. shouldnt have grabbed her. heat of the moment.

If things got complicated Chris knew he could easily overpower this guy... but this guy looked smart. Shouldn't mess with him. He looked like he just went through a shitload too.

Chris reached out his hand for a hand shake. While grabbing the girl at the same time.

Crap.

Aw fuck, he thought as he watched all of this unfold. The cute artsy girl was getting accosted by some prick from the bus, and now the guy from the accident was coming over to help. J.T. wasn't sure if this prick guy was really horny, really naïve, really stupid, or a combination of the three, but really dude? In public?

The accident guy looked like he had just gone through Gettysburg, D-Day, and Pork Chop Hill and then got into a fistfight with Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein tag-teaming against him, all in the span of an hour. And as much as he liked to wisecrack, J.T. certainly did not relish the idea of crossing him.

Be a good Samaritan, or let it play out...ah, what the hell, he thought, getting up to be within distance. Not to intervene, but to help out if things got messy. Which they sure as shit seemed to be leaning towards.

Stephen noticed the three people in front of him and he slowly walked away. I hope there isn't a fight. He thought. Well, I might be able to get a wifi signal somewhere so I can tell my mom I won't be home tonight. He thought as he walked away and toward the hotel.

John had been eyeing up the pedo ever since they got off the bus. He stealthily slid up behind him and pushed the point of his knife against his back, no more then a prick but enough for him to notice. John had done some bad things in the past, but nothing like child abuse.
"let go of the kid, you sick fuck" he muttered into the model wannabe

((Making the assumption that the little fight is in the eyesight of the lobby.))

Casimir stopped his inquiries; he had the general idea that asking questions when the drama was going on would be a bad idea. He decided to enquire with a member of staff about renting a room; preferrably a smoking one, and just maybe he'd get a map of the area. Facts are important. And thus, Casimir proceeded to the hotel.

Woah woah woah!

That crazy bastard from before had got his knife to the prick's back. He was about to cross THAT LINE.

"Hey, brother, calm down," J.T. said, stepping forward slowly with his hands held up. "It doesn't gotta go down like this, aiight? Just let him go-"

"After what he was about to do?" he heard the crazy man say.

"Alright, so he's an idiot. Fair game. But you know killing him's just gonna make things worse."

He had no idea if his words were sinking in. But he would be damned if he was going to have to stay here an extra night because he was on the sight of a murder scene. This pervert getting stabbed was no reason to have to miss seeing his own girl, right?
