Okay, let the guys running the RP set the times. Everyone else just go along with it. I do everything I do because I assume it's all taking place at the exact same time. If people screw it up, though, not much is going to get accomplished.

Now, with that said: I'm hoping someone takes over this little leadership tirade because I do not feel like my character is qualified. I'll help out, but not lead; my character's a supporting type, not a leading type.

1 thing i might add.
When you post can you write what your character did while you were gone and everyone posted, and then write what your character is doing next? if everyone follows that, the time things might be less confusing.

*facepalm* Agreeing about the timeskipping forward. My character has no reason to stick around the bus station for that long, and skipping everyone that far forward cuts her out of the game unless I can do some serious bending backwards to accommodate it. (Thanks, MGS, by the way, for trying to help me out with that. ) Time skipping is usually done by agreement of the players after things have come to a lull... if you'd dropped the 'OH NO SLENDAR MANZ!' and the three hour timeskip and the bus and gunshots and shit like five pages later, we'd be peachy.

Can we just sit in this time period for a few posts? If some weird time-skipping is going to happen in character, I'd like to see it happening to individual groups, or have some forewarning given out of character in this thread. Just because our characters are getting jerked around doesn't mean that we should be, too.

Far as I can tell the timeskip happened during the slendy attack. Did they sit there for 3 hours and wave to slendy? lucky my dude wasnt there so i can lay a relatively simple back track

I'm chalking this one up to (at least partially) a time lapse or something. I don't even know. Sorry for the TL;DR IC post, I'm just trying to figure out what's going on with my character because things strayed so far away.

yeah I'm going with a timeskip. Luckily confusion isn't too OOC for me, so I'll just roll with it.

I agree on the not trying to pilot or give dialog to other people's characters, although I DID give Neil some dialog in a past post, but he gave me the OK. If need be, you could always pop over here to the OOC thread and ask someone directly if it's okay.

blahblah's formula for "while everyone was doing THIS, i did THIS, and now I'm doing THIS" works pretty well for me, though I've been TRYING to run things in realtime- I'm falling victim to getting confused about locations, i may have to have a visual here so I can imagine where everyone is at what time.

Wait, what's happening? I've been away from the Internet for a few days, and reading over the posts hasn't cleared up my confusion at all. I think what we need is a map - I mean, a little diagram saying "bus thingy is here, hotel is here" to ensure there's no confusion.

I did have something planned for my character in Beam's Creek, but it can happen anywhere, really - it just helps if it's at night.

Okay, I drew a crappy diagram. Since Dray seems to be the one who understands most about Beam's Creek this diagram may be a lie, but all this covers is the bus stop, bus hotel area- I put a few characters on the diagram to indicate where they are as of my last post, but I can't remember everyone and I'm confused as to where some people are, so it's really only like the last six or so people to post who show up on the diagram.

Let's hope this helps a little.

Doesn't interfere with it in the least sniper ^^ He exploded at Chris, Bri's question went unanawered, everyone goes on with their lives. On a side note I think we should rename the RP to some sort of soap opera. Days Of Our Slenderman? The Young and the Slenderman? haha~!

To anyone who's using that diagram I drew up, there are now some changes to be made to it: JT is outside the terminal, Adrian is in the hotel lobby and John is in the terminal. That's your daily slenderbusstation report, and now here's the nine o clock news >w<

and... gaahh this is probably how intense a slender rp gets. its mainly just the characters self destruct or let slendy eat them so...

Update to the diagram. Bri is now walking from the terminal to the hotel. She hasn't arrived yet, but she's in the process of getting there.

I hope the visual is helping people figure things out. I'm actually a LOT less confused now that I made it.
