@tammyrichards43 I understand that you're withholding information to preserve your cut of the treasure, but realistically unless you're at the site you're probably not getting a dime unless it's in writing. It'd be a lot more helpful for everyone involved, if you shared whatever you have and put your greed on hold... At least at this stage of the game. You have some good ideas and a great eye for some of the more obscure connections, but I doubt you're gonna find a partner if your information comes at a price. Maybe toward the end of the game, but certainly not now. Not trying to be mean or rude, but I felt like it needed saying. I'd be more than happy to work together, but 2 minds alone aren't going to crack this.

As for checking things out tomorrow, it might be quite difficult. Tomorrow is the Dominican day parade, so expect a lot more people in the city. It also tends to get a bit rowdy, so Monday might be better

I don't have greed Necromancer or I wouldn't have shared what I have. Are you laying out all you have? My gosh to tell everything I have would take pages. I need someone to work with on here as I am not in NYC or even NY state. I do not appreciate your comment about the greed. How else am I going to get anything if I don't partner? I am not going to give everything away that I know so someone can go get it for themselves either. You say you are not trying to be mean or rude but that is exactly what your comment sounded like. I am on here to share what I have and would like a partner. You are more than welcome to play it your way. I have treasure hunt experience and a lot of ideas. I am sorry if you don't like what I am doing but I am an adult and I don't need your advice about what to do in this hunt. I have seen first hand what has happened before in the Treasure Trove hunt and others. People will run with other people's information and get it for themselves not knowing all that person's research. That is true greed to do that. It is a kin to stealing. I don't want any more than my share if I figure it out and am willing to give half of it to someone who will dig it up. I don't think that sounds too greedy now, does it? I am willing to spill everything I know to a partner/partners but I am definitely not going to spill it all here. I do share a lot of what I have as you can read in all my posts. I also have a location that clues are pointing to so telling too much would lead you right to it. I may be wrong but there are a few things I have to keep under my hat for now. I will continue to share what I can. Today's video will of course let me know if my hunch is correct and if I am on the right track. Concerning the comment about not getting anything unless it is in writing.... well, I have that covered too if I find anyone interested.

Just to add more to the post about crowns I wrote earlier..... Lou Gehrig also won the Triple Crown in baseball.....

@tammyrichards43 this forum is all about sharing information and you've been very generous in sharing your ideas and information that you've found, but you've also posted several times you're looking for someone to partner with in the NYC area. Since you're still asking, I'll assume you've had no takers. I can't speak for others, but I myself, am a little put-off by this. Perhaps if you quit asking, a partner may find you. Wink

FYI, I've registered the channel #lostgold for anyone who wants to chat in real time. For those new to unFiction you can use the java applet here, once connected type "/join #lostgold"(without the quote marks). If you use an IRC client like mIRC the server you want is irc.chat-solutions.org.

I have had two takers and as of a few mins ago an agreement. I am sorry exanor if you are "put off". I see that you are a moderator. Am I breaking any rules of this forum? I am new here and this is the first time I have been involved in this forum. If I am not welcome here I can go back to the tweleve forum where I have posted for a long time. Let me know. I certainly didn't come here and join in this hunt to upset anyone. I don't know what people expect. I for one am not going to drive over 5 to 6 hrs to check things out and I need someone to do that and without an agreement I am not going to give someone a location to dig or check out and have them reverse work this hunt and have it taken away. I have seen it happen before in other hunts. I will continue to participate and share what I can but if I need to leave I would like a moderator or administration person to tell me if I am doing anything wrong. Thank you. I am starting to feel like this isn't the place for me.

Please don't feel that way, everyone is welcomed here. It really is my own personal feeling about you asking to partner up *several* times. I was just trying to point out, that your um, enthusiasm, might be keeping people from contacting you. Smile I too have been a member of Tweleve since it's inception and followed several hunts there including ATT and CWOAF. Hopefully you'll stay around both forums. Very Happy

PS: I'm glad you've found someone to help you out. I have no plans on actually digging up the gold, I just like the journey/hunt there. Wink

I was in ATT (near the end) and all of SOTAD (a tragedy). I hope you understand what I am saying. I do plan on fully participating in this one though, unlike you. I could be totally off but am feeling conident in what I am finding so far. At 5:00 today at the release of the next video clues I will know more. Good luck to you also but I just want you to know that I have always been a sharer in forums. I love a good hunt and enjoy positive interaction on the forums. Thanks for responding.

tammyrichards43: I hope you stay and participate as well. Seeing as how you have stated you were previously involved in Michael Stadther's hunts, I have to say that based on what I have seen so far, and what I think I know about the creators, I don't think that the puzzles are going to be as difficult to solve as in ATT or SOTAD.

By the way, in order to avoid duplication of effort, I want to announce that I will be posting a transcript today as soon as the next episode drops.

The last video was released at 5 pm EDT, but I think I read somewhere that the first video was released early. Maybe the next video will be released at 5 pm PST.
