Crow's Nest

My prediction is that the crow's nest (whatever that is) is where the gold is. I think it is a place that Mulligan who isn't very smart constantly wants to go. The capn wont let him go there. Kind of like the last place you look. We just need to figure out where that is. I said before Crown Sets but maybe I am wrong. Columbia U has king'c crowns. Oh well time will tell. There is a flagpole with a crown at the top of it outside of Low Library.

great work everyone!

I've been watching this forum for a day or two and I think everyone is doing a great job!!! If there is anything not covered that I find I'm happy to post it for everyone to see. I'm in it for the fun, not for the money. Besides, if you are intelligent enough to solve the clues you should know 1 person alone cannot lift a 200lb buried chest out of the ground!

Also, to tammyrichards43 you are a selfish, greedy, crazy person. Your posts are so full of nonsense and bluster, it makes most sense that your intent is really to post red herrings. The color of the C train is blue and white!?! And it matches Columbia university!?! Are you kidding me?! Get your ass off your armchair and start by coming to New York City! Smile

From Brooklyn with Love.

@fellowtraveler, thank you so much for the transcriptions! Brownie Brownie for you.

After watching this second video several times, does anyone else think that Mulligan could be using sign language when he's being viewed from the other ship? To me it looks like he could be flashing numbers.

Initial thoughts on Video 2

First impression for clues (Assuming we're starting at Chess and Checkers house)

1. SSW, "Fire over their bridge" - Going SSW, you will cross over the Driprock Arch.

2. Tom's numbers - We're all pretty agreed about these being lamposts. It's backed up by the video teaching us japanese numbers and the talk of wait til dusk (making the lampposts more noticeable).

3. "Aim below their bridge" - The last lamppost brings you on top of Rat Rock, I need to double check but there is a wooden bridge just south of Rat Rock, but I don't know if there's an easy path to get under it. Otherwise, I'm thinking Greyshot Arch.

4. "Gotta pee" - Continuing from Greyshot, there are public restrooms just SW.

5. "I love shooting BORDERS in the face" - There is a Borders book store in the Time Warner center in Columbus circle. If we follow that, it would mean exiting the park and crossing to the SW "corner" of Columbus circle

6. "Peace, Courage, Fortitude, Justice" - Here's where the path get's a little weird. Assuming Borders is a clue, This leads back to the Merchant Gate as discussed. I'm inclined to believe this is a clear clue. If it is important to follow the exact path, this little backtrack from Borders may be important.

7. "All safely below" - Entering the subway

8. Silver Coast of Africa - The silver globe at the Trump building seems like an obvious answer and my interpretation is that the Captain is just confirming we should be at Columbus circle.

Overview- I'm not 100% sure on the Borders thing, but it is in the general location and seems to fit the path thus far. Other clues I haven't really included:
The French and Potato Tutty
Crows Nest
Lieutenant Kid and 4 guys behind

Anyway, after 2 viewings, here's what I got.

It matches the C-rock painted on the wall which I by the way gave the link to. What the heck is wrong with you. I am sharing everything I know and have worked on. I would be willing to bet that you are violating the rules of this forum by calling me horrible names. I definitely can leave here and post nothing else if I am not welcome as I have said before. Geeze, what's up with you?????? You have shared nothing. I do have a location still in mind but I have shared everything I know almost on Columbia U.
Seriously get a grip. I have no intent to mislead anyone I can assure you. I may just be wrong.

Although I agree with crowsfeet about two blues being different (Columbia blue is rather light blue whereas A/C/E line is darker blue), tammyrichards43 has been sharing her ideas (maybe not all, but more than crowsfeet has) and doesn't deserve an insult.

Just another idea - not so confident, but who knows??

During the "1, 2, 3, 4 in Japanese" song, Mt. Rushmore is shown. Mt. Rushmore has four presidents. Then Tom shoots off the sun. Number 3 in Japanese is [san], pronounced the same as the sun. The third face on Rushmore (counting from the left) is Roosevelt.

Right before the song, Captain mentions God. If you would venture to interpret God as St. Luke, St. Luke and Roosevelt - There is St. Luke-Roosevelt Hospital few blocks from Columbus Circle. (btw - I'd had a terrible experience at the emergency unit here...)

Just looking at the transcript....seems like alot of repetitive words like when Mulligan says "Nonono. Nononono. Captain. Captain. It's okay. It's okay."
and then Crothers says...."Tom. Tom. Tom. "
Black Tom "Oh. Oh. Komoji!"
A few other spots you see "What. What" "Bad. Bad." Alright. Alright"
Any thoughts on this? I have none Sad

I was thinking maybe it's trying to point out the 3rd president on Mt. Rushmore? Don't have it in front of me ....is it Jefferson that is 3rd?

EDIT TO ADD: 3rd is Roosevelt

Well Nononono and okay both have O's. So does Tom, and Oh. What, Bad, and Alright all have A's. It is just a thought. The word komoji means lower case letters which makes me think we are looking for a letter here.

It would make sense that a "God type feller" would be someone like a saint...St. Luke.

And if we continue the Columbia trend (which I'm still not seeing, but this could be relevant), guess what St. Luke-Roosevelt is an Academic Affiliate of
