Speaking of Vidal, Serik: did he ever answer the whisper you said you sent him a while back? Your first post here you said you asked him about the building of the satellite and you did research and such. I was hoping for a response to that!

Right, so a few more responses from Alvarez; Hoping to see what you all have to say about them before I start posting the way I do
Haven't been trying to decode the 2 messages much anymore; - Vidal DID answer, not in the way you might suspect - If any one wants the full communications report, ask and I'll PM it through these forums.

EDIT: got more from Vidal today. Hopefully I'll get the time to clean up all the comms and merge them, but until then I'll send the hastily combined version.

well written email Seadevil I really dig it! My only squabble with it is for Alvarez's safety. By him sending this email, Alvarez is telling this dangerous version of Henry that he is in contact with us (mentioning the satellite and the transmissions is an obvious tell) I think this alternate personality Henry sees us as a threat and it looks like he does not know we are in contact with Alvarez is to our advantage. This email could scare/piss Henry off knowing Alvarez can speak with us and I could even see him then cutting Alvarez's cord, no??? unless he's really, really full of himself and still sees no threat in this! lol

Either way though it will stir up some shit and there is nothing wrong with that I guess! hahaha

edit: I see in your message to Malcolm you mention The Group as well as in the email? Where are you going with that?

also Blaine the Train is the shit! hahah I havent read those books in years but I certainly remember him!

Well we are still unsure on how much Malcolm can see of any data that we send Henry via Al, the Group stuff questions may provide us some info.

Henry won't chop off his only source to chat to someone not to mention he will be curious as to who we really are.

His bad half could still be Malcolm pulling our chain, we need to be a little bit more direct on our enquires while appearing somewhat mysterious ourselves. Henry already appears to be getting bored with Al so I've just given him a new toy to play with.

Hahaha. Vidal told me about the consortium thing at the press and news section of their website, but I just kept on checking the company sites News> iDGi press section thinking I was doing something wrong>_>. Thanks wowo; Might still be doing that if I hadn't seen your post.

Any way, once I finished reading it, I remembered something I'd been meaning to ask Malcolm about the guardians. I edited the question into one of my previous posts, but He should still see it since it's right above seadevils latest post. It's:

" Have the Guardians left anything other than what you've mentioned so far (Language, teachings, slightly fanatic followers who apparently misunderstood their intentions, etc.)? Anything such as a clue to where THEY come from, Items they may have left behind? "

Please note that I did note intend for the fanatic followers bit to be a jab at the church.

Only posting the question here because I remember reading something about guardian-esque items somewhere, wondering whether anyone else did, or whether it's just me.

Okay, still no luck on deciphering our two little file friends, though I have been a bit preoccupied. Will try and get around to updating the iDGi wiki, hopefully with a comprehensive timeline(s) of the iDGi project. Decided to take a break to roam around and found this: http://www.hostip.info/index.html which could be used to check out the IPaddresser IP locales - Might be...enlightening.

Also, I'd ask Alvarez about finding someone who is an expert on the Guardians and has little to no connections with the church - maybe help us out with some knowledge on our alien friends...but I won't .
Malcolm has been absent of late...should probably also ask about that...

Now, about Henry - It seems it's quite bipolar, and we aren't sure whether or not to trust him...However,. we should remember who is behind the construction of 'ol K1, and that's David S...or is it? Let's not forget young master Chard, even if he has disappeared; Of course, he wouldn't just run and stay hidden. In fact, it is quite likely that Chard has been monitoring the situation in some capacity from afar. With any luck, Chard might even approach Alvarez at some point if he manages to catch us snooping around... Though maybe not, considering the church is probably keeping an eye on famosa...

Anyway, I should get around to this some time soon. Till then, please tell me when I am repeating something that was/I've already done/said.

Should have said something earlier but I've been working on those two files. I've made some progress decrypting a lot of it but hit another roadblock in that everything decoded is another code. If you'll give me a bit more time to finish I'll post what I've got.

On another note, something has struck me as odd about Alvarez. I've got this theory about him and even though I'm probably wrong I might as well share. I get that he's a very talented hacker but it seems like he's being bit too modest about it. He talks about it as his hobby that he can take a break from whenever and he lives with his aunt and uncle, and yet he's got high-end equipment and the skills to break into an office network (with admittedly low security, but still.) to get his dad fired. I know that Henry was the one that let the Church access K-1 and Al simply used that same signal but that fact that he even knows what to do once inside is impressive. What if, and that's a colossal if, Alvarez is actually Kevin Chard?

Kevin knew that Worldview was managing and altering Henry in ways he didn't approve and knew that there's nothing he could do to stop them. So he disappears, moves all his gear to some unassuming suburb, and patches himself straight through to Henry using the Church's signal that he already knew about. If the Church has gone so far as to put a mole inside the facility it's safe to say their signal's been active for quite awhile. Henry probably found it when Kevin was still working on him and realizing that Henry could protect himself/ the Church isn't a threat/ it could be a valuable learning experience, allowed Henry to play with them. The fact that he got patched through to the iDGi forums was an accident caused by Henry's connection with the satellite.

What happened to Alvarez's trip-number name? that 11253@)$@(! thing that used to be on the forums? They all say Alvarez now, but I do remember that they didn't always(Unless I'm crazy)... probably means nothing...Even if you do check out the "Message from Vidal" in the sticky thread and it reads Alvarez =/(<-unless it was always like that, because it has the first message from alvarez and I just forgot.)

Thank-you Galt, for the documents, though I haven't gotten around to using them yet. Fear not though, I'll get around to it...unless someone decodes it first.

Also, about the timeline I'm making for the wiki- how do you all think it should be? I'm thinking one overall timeline, with the respective dimensions being on either side of it...though that maybe confusing, so maybe separate timelines for each dimension, or some such thing? Input is appreciated.
As for Alvachard, I don't like the idea much...but since it is possible, I do believe we never mentioned...well, I'm sure there is something we never mentioned to Famosa that Chard would know; Always a chance of a slip up.

As for Famosa, I find confronting Alvarez about our suspicions would be premature and ill-advisable. I find the best course here is to wait/forget about it until such a time it becomes apparent he is/isn't chard or we trip him up as I said up there^

the name was changed, it's all Alvarez now for me too!! maybe the old name meant something or maybe vidal or alvarez just changed it and didn't say anythin. doesnt matter i guess if noone knows what it was before

serik i'd go with having two separate timelines one for each dimension and obviously a simple format we can add to it & help you out. i too think it would prolly make it easier to read and digest like that!

i've no idea what to think about the alvarez is really chard idea. its definitely possible i guess! the way alvarez talks about his mysterious "cousin" makes me believe he got his skills and maybe even equipment from him. or his cousin story is a pile of BS!! a good question to ask is with malcolm maybe ask if hes actually SEEN Alvarez and knows who he is for sure. if the sob comes back anyway!!
