[DEAD BLOG] Ichthyological
Fishy things are happening...

Her blog:
http://ichthyological.blogspot.com/

I haven't read it all, but she posted on "The Tutorial" about SM and she mentions a "tall guy in a suit." Also, the writing is very good so far.

I've been slogging through this too. Comprehensive "normal blog" build up, which is good.
To be honest, I've not yet reached the Slendybits yet.

I like this one for some reason. Her reactions to things seem relatively normal, and I like the way several of the blogs are starting to intwertwine, with fellow 'Slender-survivors' sharing information and tips on how to stay safe. It's neat!

I'm a little confused on the most recent update. How the hell did she get from Nevada to Boston so fast?

Okay, this is getting interesting. How many blogs and stories are connected now? We have this, the one with the M guy, Damien (I think that's his name), Zeke (MIA, bust still a part of it), and potentially Rainbow Life's writer. EVERYMANhybrid's already connecting with CANYOUSEETHEWORDS, even if it was pre-planned.

Jeeze, I wonder if TribeTwelve and MArble Hornets itself will get in on the act (the latter, probably not though). I'm already getting mental images of these Slendervictems in a heroic group pose with Slendy looming over in the background. Shocked

Her newest post seems to suggest that this is, in fact, over.

I wasn't sure whether to end it or not. I guess by posting here I can officially say it's dead?
I'm probably still breaking ToS.
I wish I'd done better, but, I'd just been forced in to going to beauty school and I just started using Beth and her Slender antics as an outlet. By the end her behavior showed that, her character became very hollow and her depression mirrored mine. I had so many plans and all of them fell through. The whole thing ended up being very generic and that was exactly what I was trying to avoid.
So yes. It's over. Sorry about possibly spitting on and stomping all over your rules!

The idea of a massive cross-over teamup is both hilarious and awesome. It could work, however, in as a survival horor story as well if played right. A a night or several days, a war of attrition as the heroes try various ways to vanquish their mutual enemy. The amount of co-ordination as each of them update their sites (until they don't) would be mind-boggling.

Will they end up trapped in a cabin, running through the subburbs, skulking through a shopping mall/hardware store? Will they prepare traps and punji pits? Will they gather to plan and Slendy attacks before they get anywhere? The possibilites are endless.

Well, even though it wasn't the greatest, I did like it. You started with something completely...uhh....unusual is guess is the best word, and not anything like "zOMG guiz! slendyblog hear!!!!11!1!!!1one." And it felt like it had nice pacing, even when reading it all at once. By the by, could you tell us me what you were planning? I'd be interested to hear. Also, did you actually leave stuff for M to find, or would you rather not say? (I also hope I'm not breaking the ToS...even though it's finihsed?)

I liked it. I learned a lot about fish in, literally, a three hour period where I was sick. EVERYTHING before July was written in three hours. You could probably tell.
I'm shocked that you said the pacing was good, though. I took a creative writing class once and the only problem I was consistently told I had is that pacing is... Well. Not my forte.
I'm not going to go in to any specifics because honestly, it probably all sounds stupid(laugh at my self-esteem now), but I looked extensively in to special effects make-up, had a friend lined up to act as Anna, and I also do in fact have a ridiculously tall friend. He's not unhealthy-tall, but just tall enough to scare the hell out of me after delving too far in to this thing. It was either going to be awesome or cheesey and Halloweeny, either of which is fine with me. I also connected the whole thing to my actual internet alias to add... Something. I don't know what I was thinking at the time on that one. Looking back it all sounds really convoluted.
I considered actually leaving stuff for M to find. In the end it turned in to a whole, "WELL. I've always wanted to go to New York but this guy is almost definitely not there. Unless he is, at which I ruined a beautiful opportunity." In the end, though, it's probably for the better. I don't want to end up being named as a potential terrorist.
I'm going to divulge this really quick: M is a great player and I frequently worried that it wasn't actually a game with him. If he chooses to pick up my loose end that'd be great and stress me out a little less about the "WHAT IF THIS ONE'S FOR REAL?" paranoia.
What I'm most upset about out of everything? I took quite a few pictures for this and one line of the last post was one-hundred percent trufax. I couldn't find my MicroSD adapter for the life of me, which means I at some point backcombed the hell out of my hair for absolutely no reason. The pain I experienced returning it to not-rat'snest was immense. :[
Excuse my rantan. Nobody I know knows anything about the entire Slender Man world and I've sort of been stewing in OOC thought.

Heh, heh. Well, maybe the pacing thing was just because I encountered it with so many posts at first...but I digress. I also get that "this is real"
vibe from M, which is awesome, he's done a very good job. And it's good not know people put effort into these things, even if they don't turn out the way you want them to. Good luck on all your future endevours!

Arrrrrgh, it's over? I haven't had a lot of time to get really active on this, but I was enjoying coming back and looking at new posts and stuff! :c I'm sorry about the depression and things feeling low. Ummm eat some chia seeds or cod liver oil or something on a regular basis, it may help you get back on your stride for moods if it's a chemical thing.

Take care, man. If you ever want to, you can always go through these and decide on what worked and what didn't and try again, Smile
