I don't think Evan is going to be a Masky or TTA figure (whether or not those are the same person in MH is another 10 page thread on its own ). If Everyman is going to have that role at all, I still vote for CYSTW girl. She has already faced Slenderman, knows about the Hybrid guys and knows Slendy is up in their biznass even if they don't. So in my opinion she has the means, motive and weird personality to do creepy shit like leave notes and the box to scare them into believing.

I think Evan is more like later-entry Jay. For whatever reason he is being directly affected by Slenderman and becoming prone to spacing out/acting insane. Whereas Vince and Jeff are more like Jay before he visited Alex's house and got himself involved. They see Evan acting all weird and are aware "something" is going on, but they aren't the ones facing the full force of Slendy's wrath.

Ohohoho... the sirens, man, the sirens. Not bad for the shiver-inducing factor, but they're so inextricably tied to Silent Hill that that's immediately where my mind goes.

Having watched that part a couple of times, I'm not convinced that Slendy is on a pully system. There's some twist to the torso (I think) as he's walking away that makes me think just a very smooth gait. Anyways, there's not enough of him moving for me to get annoyed by it being too much of any particular thing. Herp derp.

One thing bugged me was Evan's weird pose in the circle of bags. "LOOK GYZ I'm an anime character stabbing the ground and doing a pose!" It would have been creepier, I think, if he hadn't looked like he was gettin' ready for a cheesy photoshoot. Other than that, though... man, that guy is good at creepy. If he's turning into a TTA-esque character, I'm actually really interested to see how that'll develop. In MH, we didn't get to see how Tim got the way Tim was, and I admit to not really watching any other sidestories, so the idea of watching someone go Slender-crazy is kind of cool -- and man, who better to do it than Evan, who does creepy and a little bit crazy so very well.

Though honestly, it looked to me like he was getting up and charging Slenderman with intent to stab a bitch (though gratz, Evan, you went the wrong direction), so if he's turning TTA at least it seems like he might be an anti-Slendy TTA.

It's almost as if they just don't notice that Evan is being a creepy mo fo, just like they can't get ... or --- to work. He's sliding out of their memories and they're only seeing of him what they want to, and remembering what they want to!

In any case, I think this was pretty badass! It was fun to watch; sort of a different vibe of creepy from what you get from watching MH the first time through. Evan gives me this sort of sickening sense of dread, watching all of the little things he does. I keep thinking that he's going to literally turn on them at some point in the near future.

I enjoyed the transition and distortion; the air raid siren made me think 'Silent Hill/Slender Man crossover!' but it wasn't a bad thing, necessarily. (Air raid sirens instantly give me dread, too, so maybe that's why I don't mind them using it?)

Evan's posing seemed sort of forced when he's crouching by the bags... I kind of think that if he were just standing there, at a loss, it'd have been better. The bag-o-blood was cool... I don't know why but I kind of wish that there was blood splattering on Evan for that as he was laughing, just because he was so cheesy to begin with. XD

But I agree, I wouldn't allow that guy within fifty feet of me if we'd been friends and he started freaking out like that. He's getting FAR too crazy!

The fact that they're snagging cameras to document stuff seemed... like a strangely transparent turn towards the usual slenderman vlog idea. Not sure how I feel about that presentation despite the fact that woot, more content! I wonder if now they will acknowledge that Slendy's after them. And if they'll start talking to other people and Slenderman-blog characters? (Maybe M and other folks could show up to the EMH live chats?)

Um, could someone remind me of who the missing girl is? I'm definitely having a dumb moment!

I'm not sure who the missing girl is supposed to be either, but I think people might be referring to Jessa because Vin mentioned that she didn't answer her phone when they tried to call her about Jeff, and people might be extrapolating based on that, that she's disappeared.

But I really don't think she's dead or anything. IF she's actually missing, she's probably just tied up in Damsel's basement or something XD

Ahhh, right, Jessa! I really hope that Jeff doesn't disappear. I like him! Argh, I guess that we're getting to that part where everyone starts to die, aren't we? I want to know how Damsel is tied into the rest of this; she seems a little too feckless to be the one disappearing people!

At first I was expecting the usual, a simple video about hiking, maybe them mentioning their meeting of Damsel, and a Slendy in the background thing.

WRONG!

This was Fantastic! I especially like how they pulled off Slenderman w/ Tentacles (thanks whoever pointed out the tentacles Also in MH Entry 1, hadn't noticed it before). Keep in mind it was fairly apparent that they were trying to keep his entrance/exit concealed (especially the exit it seems) so the sliding effect wouldn't ruin his being there. They had to slide him anyway, otherwise it would give the boy (mainly the cameraman) too much time to catch up with him, where the goal was to have him vanish before they had gotten to the bags.

As well, I also don't know who the missing girl is, any help here? I realize that Cameraman (Jeff was it?) went off on his own and his gf won't answer calls, do you mean her? Regardless, those facts make it apparent that the two of them found something more than high flood markings on their little trip.

Ahh, a vent stream. Okay, that makes a little more sense. I was thinking that they were talking of setting up a Jay-style "lolz, investigation tiemz!" sort of series. Hmm, this should be interesting!
