 		I'm just waiting on a media pass, but I'm hoping to be there for FanExpo as well. Went for a day last year... it's like a little Comic Con, but more true to the comic world, afaik Smile (though slowly going down the same mainstream media road as SDCC)

 		Chicago phone was topped off on May 15th with $10, to bring it up to $15.60. Back in February there is a message from Virgin that they topped it off and extended the phone for a year, so mine won't expire until 2/22/2011.


I do keep it on me most of the time. It better ring at some point. Smile

 		It's not just cuz I'm bitter for missing the LA phone by literally 30 seconds, but....


I really don't think they'd use the phones twice. I've seen phones used for ARGs before, but I dont think they've ever gotten reused. It would be much more fun to just start a new cool thread in the game, maybe give out a new group of phones, or something else we haven't even thought of yet.


Then again, the phones were absolutely pointless when they were used the first time. A map or written down series of clues could have also brought the "operatives" to the wallet cache.

actually, I was told by a "operative" that I should keep my phone on and charged at all times in case "something happens". Take that as you will.

Plus spending money to keep these phones alive? my phone balance is at 33.60 and is due to expire in 11/16/2010. If these phones aren't supposed to be used again, why dump all of this money into several of the operatives phones?

 		The phones distributed in Why So Serious, the promotion for The Dark Knight, were used more than once. 42E did that promotion, and pretty clearly is doing this one too. Pretty much says they should be using the phones again.

 		Yeah, I can't see them wasting money on phones if they're not going to use them again.

It would just make sense to use them closer to the release date of the movie. Maybe when the trailers start hitting the tv commercial realm, the the general public starts gaining interest.

They named it End of Line because the club in the movie is apparently called that.

Also, in the original movie eol completed a thought, like saying over when using radios. If it was meant to mean more then it likely means the end of a stage of the game and that we will be starting a new section.

 		End of Line I believe is a programming term. It fits with the whole Program theme of tron, I seriously doubt it's an end of game deal, heh.
