No one has yet to mention the USB drive.

SO ABOUT THAT USB DRIVE. XD

It was placed in a fairly convenient place. Obviously Jeff wanted someone to find it, along with House of Leaves. What could be on it? Pictures of Slendy, perhaps? *obvious idea is obvious*

The USB Drive is gonna contain Jeff eating a sammich with Jessa at Hoagie Haven, cackling with glee at his practical joke on Vince and Evan.

Not meaning to disagree, but I'm pretty sure I mentioned the USB stick about two pages back, and speculated that it may contain images or data related to House of Leaves either directly or obliquely.
There's a reason it was placed on top of the book.

1.The usb contains a blue pawprint...
2. Surprised there are still Slenderfans who haven't read HoL, do it guys.

3....Just noticed, out of the people who tweeted with #wheresjeff, they so far are fairly attractive (mind you couldn't really see any guys pics, only really a few girls, but that jayalay stands out). Why do I care? No reason, just like seeing attractive people, not creepy in any way...I swear...Really...not a criminal record here...nope.
Seriously though, I forgot where I was going with this.

Grieck has turned into A.

Really, how much is it worth paying for House of Leaves? Amazon.co.uk offers it for £10.50, including P&P. Personally, I think that I'm going to read it and suffer from This Isn't As Good As I Was Told Syndrome.

A? Huuuuuuuuuh?

As for House of Leaves, just read it only at night for definite scares.
And beisdes, after doing currency conversion, you're getting it cheaper than I did (but I bought it in store, soooo yeah).

House of Leaves was a huge disappointment to me, for exactly the reason you stated there. it's certainly a very unique way to write a novel, but I think it's very over-hyped because of that. The actual story isn't very strong (where a story is being told at all) and reading the book is largely like wading through a pool full of molasses. At least that was my experience. I'd suggest you read it, if only to sate your curiosity, but don't go in expecting an amazing experience, or a good story, or any sort of satisfaction or closure at all. Now, I'm going to be told by everyone on this board that I don't "get it", which is the typical cry of people who don't want to admit that there's nothing to get.... Laughing but I went in with very high expectations, and ended up frustrated and very disappointed, especially since I bought the fancy, full-colour hardcover edition thinking I would really enjoy it.

Also, on further inspection, that's definitely Alex at the door, not Jeff. I'm not sure why I thought it was Jeff earlier.

Thats the same reason I'm iffy on it too.

Next time I'm at a bookstore I'll go see how it looks.

Adonis: I wouldn't buy it. See about checking it out at the library, or borrowing it, if you've got a friend with a copy. It is not, imo, worth buying.

There's no library nearby, and borrowing it is... unlikely. The most I'd do is take a trip into Cardiff and see if Waterstones does returns. Doubt it, so I'll just not bother.

Didn't we have a theory earlier on about slendy being something form their childhood? Like in IT?

Probably over thinking it, but I just thought I'd mention it.

Yeah, I posted that a bazillion pages back or whatever. I think they've had a few subtle foreshadowy hints that have made my theory more and more likely.

Basically what I said is that based on Damsel's picture of Jessa looking very childlike, and of Vince's early dream he had of running through the woods near his old elementary school, my guess is that they encountered Slenderman as children, but don't remember it for obvious reasons.

Come to think of it, Evan's dream about having a picnic under a tree with his grandmother could have some relevance too.... Maybe his grandmother somehow saved them from Slendster. or was slendy-visited when she was young, and somehow passed it on to them.
