My experience with the National Grid is the British equivalent, which provides electricity for all of Britain.

Hmm, could be. Maybe it just needs someone to sit down with a pen and paper to work at it? I'm still trying to see if "off the grid" is related to anything; I'll see if I can get my cousin to take a look at it, he's apparently good at this kind of thing.

[edit] Trying to work this out keeps making me want to make a TVTropes page for this. I'm so easily distracted x.x

I'm pretty stumped. I've done everything I could think of, to figure this out. It makes no sense - and the clue does not help one bit.

I suppose that that's the thing with clues; they're either so obvious that they're practically the answer, or they're hopelessly useless!

I'll turn it over to my cousin, as I said. I'm also stumped; if it wasn't for the clue, I'd assume it was a straight-up word jumble.

Figured it out. It's a grid code. Take the letters and write the first six as a column, shift over, write the next six, repeat.

You end up with

...that's amazing. How did you figure out that it was a grid code?

(Also: have you sent it to A yet?)

AUUUGH! See, I'm not used to that being called 'Grid', but Column. It's the same thing but I've never referred to it as Grid. Waugh!

Awesome find, nevertheless! Go rub it in A's face. :3!

The reference to "National Grid" is what made me look into the idea of applying a column/grid decryption.

And I'd send it off to A, but I don't have a twitter. If anyone else would like to do so, feel free.

New tweet from A- YRGTB?

I almost think it's colors... Maybe it has to do with that earlier image? Color filters or something?
Could be yellow, red, green, turquoise, blue...

RBY are the three primary colours, with green being a mix of blue and yellow. As for T... turquoise is all that comes to mind. Perhaps you have to apply those filters to the image to make something show up? I'm not sure how that'd work, actually XD

Also: another new tweet.

I was thinking about it- I have GIMP on my computer, I could try applying color filters to it to see if it makes anything pop out.

R, B and Y are the primary colors... RGB is also a color format for images. Saving an image as either CMYK (cyan magenta yellow... i forget what K is for) or RGB determines how it'll look when printed....

T doesn't seem to add up though. Teal or turquoise... Those are the only ones I can think of.

The repetition has to mean something, though, that's an awful lot of YRGTB... 28, to be exact.

Is this another grid puzzle? If YRGTB has any vowels, I'd think it was another grid, but... hmmm.

Rather disappointed with this last puzzle. My first thought was colors as well, but I hit the old decoders and...

Ahhhh, just ROT13? "letgo"x28, huh?

And here I was thinking I was going to get to be image savvy and contribute something useful.
