Yeah, it definitely sounds like kids' (?) laughter in the distortion. That's pretty creepy.

It was the scariest distortion I've heard so far in a slendyvlog.
I Kiiiinda wanna go back now and listen for that, but laughing children makes sense in the context. (Assuming it's the distortion from the new one with Jeff and not the one with the door bit.)

Thanks for that abrupt distortion. I needed my heartrate to triple at 12:55 in the morning. I know he's headed south (and thusly away from me) but I'm still tempted to unlock my router for the poor guy.

I also heard laughing in the distortion, but it sounded more like a woman than a child. If I don't have a time-delayed heart attack at work tomorrow I'll see what sort of editing I can put that sound through to get more meaning.

I spent a while farting around in GIMP enhancing shots where I thought I saw Slendy, but came up with nothing. Talking about the dark lampposts in the last minute or so. Not to discourage anyone else since I am bad at this Just saying most of the obvious possibilities (to me) turned out to just be light poles.

The guy today who posted those song lyrics from Jeff's stereo (link) is looking pretty good right now. Jeff's love is missing, and CYSTW has basically stated on her blog tonight that she's gonna meet up with them (could see her as "lady of the light gone mad with the night"). Just need them to bust into a cabin and we have the hat trick

I absolutely am seeing Damsel as the lady of the light, in the game, that character has lived for years with the knowledge of the...main trouble of the game (oversimplifying: living darkness) and knows what precautions to take...sounds similar. It may also mean that she really will be able to provide a major help to the EMH boys, and not only just flares and ammo caches

JFC THAT DISTORTION!! Here I am, 3:00 in the morning, and he was speaking so quietly that I KNEW that something loud would come. Disregarding my fears, I turned my sound up as loud as it could go. I was waiting for that distortion. Then, right as he sucked me in with the traumatic story and lured me into a false sense of security, BOOM! HEART RATE: TRIPLED, DESIRE TO SLEEP: NILL.

After re-watching 'Jeff'...Anyone wondering why the stereo was left on if he's been gone for so long?

Okay, main things I took from that video:
Jeff had some MAJOR TRAUMA as a kid (duh)
Slight hearing loss from the damned loudness of the creepy distortion (just as he walked into that room, too)
Somebody mentioned the purple text in House Of Leaves, it turns out it reads as follows: What I'm remembering now , which does make a lot of sense when you think about it. He's gone back to a place where he's experienced a major traumatic experience as a child.
