 		Ok. Received an email to my attempt to register for the forums. IT's from a Ben (adminSPLATtheorderofoborot.com), entitled "The Order" and reads:-

The Order of Oborot.


It contains an attachment (see file). The attachment has a number of white and black dots, obscured by the Order of Oborot logo from the website. Removing the logo, there is text which reads:-

I think the circles might represent morse code dots and dashes. I'll start working on that angle now.

EDIT- Ok, the morse code translates to:-

Which is from SBG's The Book of Were-wolves, only it should be "hero!" instead of "heron"

I've sent on my answer as to why I should be allowed to join up. A few words about the betterment of mankind through combining science with our more primal heritage and blah blah blah. I added in the translated morse code and also shoved in a few lines from Of Wolf and Man by Metallica too for good measure! Laughing

Having sent in my request to join the Order, am I the "one making a choice" perhaps? (and if so, how does O know Shocked *starts to peer nervously over his shoulder*) Has anyone else sent in a request to join? Perhaps we need 3 people to sign up.

 		That was my understanding of his tweet as well, Merago. How he knows, I know not, but seemingly he does. As for the 3 people thing, I still have no idea.

Also, I have not sent any request to join. I'm waiting to see what happens and if there's anything else we should take into consideration and stuff.

So. I need to figure out some sort of way that shows I'm a believer in what the Order stands for. Slaughter some sheep with my teeth perhaps? Not shave for a week or two?
Also, I'm guessing I need to sign some others up. Honestly, it'll be just like the Teen Wolf movies, we'll be bad-ass at basketball, beat up all the bullies and have women (or men if that's your bag) hanging off our arms. Who's with me? Smile

That J.A.D thing was vaguely ringing a bell. I've just opened my emails up again and I think I know why: the automated email from the Oberon registration sign up comes from a Jayden A Doyle. I don't know why but I hadn't really paid much attention to that when it first came in so it didn't register. *facepalms*
Time to start looking around to see if we can find Jayden anywhere else methinks.

With regards to the actions requested by Oborot, why not partially recreate SBG's rite for becoming one, as per the book of were-wolves? Sounds along the lines of what they're after.

I've not had a chance to organise any sort of proof, but the ritual thing does sound like a good idea. It's all just proving a bit tricky logistically at the moment - as in, I haven't got the time at the moment to dash off to a forest and leap over some newly hewn trees Smile
I'll work something out at some point this week and fire it off.

EDIT - Regarding the tweet - I'm guessing "the day of the moon" means Monday. Are we maybe looking for somethibg that happened on this day in history? This is Black Ribbon day, so perhaps it's refering to the Baltic Way as the "chain which unites"?

Have applied to join Oroborus, plan on re-enacting ritual in book (now read!) having trouble obtaining a copper knife though.
Still not sure what to put on application when it comes through though.
