the cards were actually handed out at the "kill room" in San Diego (which was actually a few blocks from the convention center). They also handed out stickers, etc.
Just wanted to clear that up.

Wife came home and demanded to see the jacket. Took one look, let out a squeal of joy, put it on, and spent the next ten minutes alternately exclaiming her love for me, how awesome I am, and texting her coworkers who love Dexter to rub it in their faces. So.....yea, I think it is safe to say the jacket's off the table. sorry folks. Apparently she always wanted a jacket like this- how was I to know?

I expected you to say that then she was disappointed when she found out that it belongs to a virtual serial killer and she demanded to see the jacket because she was suspicious, but it's cool that she's a Dexter fan. Don't get too attached, f8 might want it back after you do something he tweets, though that's unlikely.

Did anyone try to get the password yet? Anybody running an automatic password generator? I might give it a try.

Cool, guess I won't need to.
Big news: Infinity hacked Dee! Visit SerialHuntress and you'll see a video that needs some audio analyzation. Maybe Infinity does have her or killed her? That audio just became ten times more important.
Edit: The numbers in the video were added on the SerialHuntress forums to be coordinates to here:

A kill-room maybe?
Edit x2: Dee is fine and she added an "Urgent Update" video to YouTube after she was hacked by Infinity:

F8 might say careful what you wish for, friend 'tho I'm smiling it worked out so beaut for ya.
Am in a RL time crunch so just mentioning not to rule out any PW sounding ironic or somewhat pun-like. G'Luck all.

The password crack is still running on my computer. I estimated that the password length is 10 characters long so we are talking about a lot of possibilities. I'll be checking it over the weekend unless someone else figures it out first.
As for the victims I am trying to come up with the killer's MO. Something that we are urged to do by Dee on her latest video.
So far we have a drug dealer, a colonel, a judge, a con man, and a doctor. The only common item they all have between them is that they all had at some point power and influence to the lives of others. My speculation is that the killer had his life influenced in a traumatic manner by someone and has never gotten over the fact that some people can come into your life and completely turn it upside down. Thus his killings are his way of "fixing" the timeline, correcting the wrongs those bad seeds have caused to the lives of others.
Again, this is purely speculation. But since this is what we are being asked to do I figured I would exercise the little gray cells.
/ETA: And the password has been resolved by quiteso of the IG forum. It is:

THX for posting the PW. After listening to the "extirpation" audio am thinking your quote above is really spot on.
'Tho this is also pure speculation have wondered for a long while if F8 has impaired vision. He says: "Ehm...for me the first time I didn't really know what I was doing..." and possibly for once he's to be taken literally. Some perceived injustice caused his eyesight problem and F8 accidentally killed someone due to his impairment. That event was the traumatic break etc.
Well, the breathing after "you could see it that way" is striking & f8's sixth session is up at Sleep Superbly .(login: 73127330)

So, f8's latest video seems to hint that there is a clue in the classifieds section of a Philly newspaper. We can't find anything online, so this one may be literally in a newspaper. Here's the video: http://www.sleepsuperbly.com/video/session_20100827.ogv
I got a good idea from Gupfee in the unfiction chatroom. Someone who lives close to Philadelphia (nearby states) should go to a local library and ask if they get any major Philly papers, especially in big cities or universities. Even if you don't live that close they might get papers from all over. Is anyone able to check?

I checked the print copy of the Inquirer's Marketplace section for Thursday, Friday and Saturday to no avail.
