Codes, Codes, Damned Codes!!!
Review of Codes

Okay, the idea is brief. We have several "solved" clues but no-where to put them, and several being mulled over (plus very little else going on). There are clearly a few code types being used. My original thought was that there was a Vigenère cipher at play with the punch cards (due to the presence of triplicate letters), and all we need is the correct key to read it (okay, I was biased reading about JJ Abrams Wired Escapade last year and hey, if you have a code you like you use it again). So far I've had no joy, but figured pooling all the codes and possible cyphers in one place may be handy, and someone might have a flash of insight. At least it's a stale side of a moldy loaf, pseudo-novel Wink

 Codes

Well, seems like you've got all but the noise code associated with th Braegen 14 file. But yeah, how they tie in and their relevance is lacking any logic or connection.

Yeah, noise code. Someone said that they had to slow it down, then invert and it gave out a message. Noise Code. Laughing

We still have that blasted Device to figure out too... I cant help but think one of the codes is the answer or will be the answer eventually. I also think that music relevence is going to be a huge key.

Hmm, I don't think anyone else has replicated that, despite extensive attempts. But this is the point, a LOT of posts under the bridge, it's easy to loose track of some of these things. Just looking for a fresh lead... Fishing basically Cool

I'd just never heard it called the device, I'd always heard it called the terminal/the computer.

No, the Device is a specific section of that terminal. You enter the command '.REENTER' and then it asks you to mount: Y, then it asks for a 'DEVICE?"

It's basically a dead end right now.
